For the sake of keeping a healthy distance, Henry and you had agreed he would work from a coffee shop and only come back at night, to sleep.

You'd managed something with the couch in the living room, turning it into a small, but comfortable area.

To say you felt terribly nervous on that first night would be an understatement.

You kept pacing the kitchen, watching the clock ticking and waiting for the door to open on Mr Chaos. Your stomach was a ball of knots and the fact that you'd barely eaten only made it worse.

After an eternity, you figured he wouldn't come, and eventually turned on the TV before sprawling on the couch.

These were moments in your day you dreaded.

Being lonely in a new town had made you crave any kind of conversation, with anyone. Knowing you wouldn't be able to sleep right now, you released a long sigh and started playing videos, then a stupid TV show. The muffled sound lulled you to sleep before you knew it.

In the warmth of your dreams, you noticed two blue sparkles. Very briefly, an image formed, causing you to giggle.

Oh, come on, Y/N. Now, you're dreaming about him ?

The blue sparkles became a pair of eyes and your crazy neighbor seemed to gaze at you from beneath his black lashes.

Ooh. Your imagination was clearly softening his traits for his grumpy face was nowhere to be seen.

It all felt so real. This body gently pressed against yours, your face resting on a warm, strong chest. Your breath itched at the pleasing and comfortable sensation.

When your strange dream started to fade away, you muttered his name, trying to make him come back to your mind. His face disappeared, then his scent. He was gone.

In the morning, you woke up so suddenly that your head almost hit the wall. Heart pounding in your chest, you tried to remember the last lingering image, any residue of your dream.

And now, reality sank in.

You were lying under the sheets, all dressed... in your bed.

Last night didn't just feel real. It was.

Fine, it was embarrassing. However, Henry carrying you to bed didn't sound that terrible. No, what was terrible was you remembered you'd called his name a few times in your sleep.

Damn you, Y/N.

You took a deep breath and decided to go downstairs anyway.

Carefully entering the kitchen, you assumed Henry was already gone. Thank god, he was sparing you the embarrassment.

With a sense of relief, you grabbed a piece of bread and started preparing a quick breakfast.

"Morning."

Startled by the sound of his voice, you almost dropped your food.

Holy shit.

You closed the closet door to look up. He came near you, shirtless, his hair slightly wet. A burning blush spread all over your face when he grabbed a cup of coffee he'd left here.

Henry's typical bright blue eyes settled on you, and you realized you'd remained silent.

"Oh, eh-hi." you awkwardly stuttered, "I see you've found the bathroom."

He didn't respond to your comment, but a slight smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

Inhale, exhale. It's only for a little while, you tried to reassure yourself.
