Quinn Pierce has lived next door to the Martin family for as long as she can remember. Being an only child she often found herself climbing over the separating fence, so she could hang out with two of her best friends Asa and Issac Martin. Quinn typically did what most would call 'running away from their problems.' The boys, being used to her ways of coping, would always welcome her with open arms and apple juice; which the girl was obsessed with. Tomorrow was Quinn and Asa's first day of their junior year at East High, while Isaac was starting his sophomore year. That being one of the main reasons as to why Quinn was currently laying on her best friends bed latched to a bottle of apple juice.

"Why are you so stressed about it anyway? You've been through this twice already." Asa muttered from his spot on the floor waist deep underneath his bed.

Sitting against the headboard Quinn puts the lid on her apple juice and sighs, "Ace! Ricky and Nini broke up this summer! I finally have my chance to swoop in and get Ricky! I mean i've liked him since the end of freshman year, and by the time I realized it, he was already with Nini."

"Trust me Q. I know about the breakup. Ricky was here the night it happened remember? You almost flew over that gate once I texted you that he was here." Asa chuckled at the memory while picking himself off of the floor with his backpack now in hand. He sighed joining his best friend on his bed,"the boy is convinced that it was just a break. I didn't have the heart to tell him about EJ. He's going to be fresh out of a year long relationship, and I hate to break it to you Q, but I doubt he's going to be ready to play the bachelor any time soon."

"A girl can dream Martin." Quinn exasperated leaning her head on Asa's shoulder.

"No arguments there Pierce." Asa responded resting his head on hers.

As soon as Quinn entered East High, she wished she hadn't. On her way to her locker she had to pass, what looked like, an argument between Nini and Ricky. Based on the look on Ricky's face she began to assume he now knew about her relationship with senior EJ Caswell. As she was pulling her necessary books out for her classes after the assembly, her favorite boys walked up to her with wide smiles. She shut her locker and linked her arms with the boys.

"What's got you two all smiley today."

Isaac, being the instigator of the group responded first, "he's just excited he gets to spend another school year with THE Quinn Pierce by his side." Asa punching his brothers shoulder in return only made Quinn laugh harder than the initial comment did.

"Don't look now Q, but I think Bowen likes your laugh."

Hearing this come from Isaac made her jerk her head up unconsciously and lock eyes with the curly haired boy himself.

Panicking, Quinn said the first thing to come to mind,"abort mission. Abort. Eye contact has been made." Pulling the brothers around the corner and into the gymnasium.
