chapter 4: MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME

a military song with a trumpet started sounding in the whole camp. i guess that's the "alarm" so we can wake up. i saw that emma and jessie were talking and chloe was asleep. then julia came out of the bathroom

"finally! what took you so long?" said emma and went in

"if they make another comment mocking us, i will punch them in the face" julia said and i could see she was annoyed

"we just need to tolerate them the rest of the summer" i said. then chloe woke up

"hey good morning" chloe said and she fell asleep again. i went up to her bed and started shaking her.

"cmon chloe wake up! it's already morning!" i said to her and julia joined me

"omg you both are so annoying" chloe said and she stood up

"we know" julia said with a proud face

chloe waited until emma came out of the bathroom and the she went in to get ready. after she came out, i went to get ready. i putted a black shirt and my white shorts again with a red sweater. i made my hair into a braid and came out. julia and chloe were already dressed. so as the other three girls.

"it's time to go to have breakfast" chloe said

"oh yeah, i just need to do something but i'll catch with you" i said

"do you want us to wait for you?" julia replied

"oh no go ahead i'll catch up" i said. i wanted to text ava and my mom

"well ok, the dinning area is right behind that pine tree so see you there" chloe said and they left. i grabbed my phone from my backpack and i texted my mom first

i wanted to tell ava all chloe said of noah having a crush on me but i wasn't sure about that. he probably doesn't. i walked to the dinning room and i saw chloe and julia in a table so i went to joined them.

"oh great you are here! we already have our food but you can get yours over there" julia said and she pointed to a cafeteria. and i couldn't belive it, noah was last on the line so i actually had a little opportunity to talk to him properly.

"oh ok thanks" i said and i ran to the line before someone else arrived. i got there in time and noah was right in front of me. it was a long line so i had time to talk to him. but how? how do i start a conversation with him? i don't want to look so obvios! omg he will probably think i like him. omg what do i do i just can't....

"hi" noah said looking at me

"you are chloe and julia's friend, right?" noah said
