The Encounter and The Bullying

It's just a typical day. Midoriya's mom took him to school. That's where he met Bakugo. But Bakugo was a bad kid that didn't know any better. He was a bully to Midoriya.

Kid Bakugo: *sees him drawing and walks over to him smirking* Hey, nerd.

Kid Midoriya: *looks up* Oh. H-hi Kacchan.

Kid Bakugo: What're you doing?

Kid Midoriya: Drawing.

Kid Bakugo: *smirks and snatches the drawing*

Kid Midoriya: HEY. GIVE IT BACK!

Kid Bakugo: DID YOU JUST RAISE YOUR DAMN VOICE AT ME?

Kid Midoriya: *retreated in fear* No. Sorry.

Kid Bakugo: Tch. Pathetic. *activated quirk and blew his drawing up*

Kid Midoriya: *gets up and tries to push him but failed*

Kid Bakugo: *grabs his face and blows him up, sending him flying towards the wall*

Kid Midoriya: *hits the wall hard and falls to the ground, unconscious*

After that, Midoriya grew up traumatized and scared to approach people because of Bakugo. Bakugo would bully and hurt Midoriya every chance he got. Now they attend UA. But things haven't really changed. Instead it got worse. On the first day after school.

Bakugo: Hey, nerd.

Midoriya: *gets scared and flinches, backing up quickly*

Bakugo: Awwwww... The nerd is afraid of me. Tch. Weak ass. *pushes him down*

Midoriya: *falls to the floor*

Bakugo: *walks away*

The same thing happens for the next year or so. When Midoriya went to school one day.

Bakugo: *sees him in his locker and walks towards him smirking*

Midoriya: *closes locker and is met with a hand gripping his face*

Bakugo: *activates quirk and blows him up*

When Bakugo did that, he left a huge scar on face. The scar was so big that it went from the edge of his tape line going vertically down over his left eye to his chin. One day, Midoriya didn't show up for school.

Bakugo: So the nerd didn't show up today?

Kirishima: No. I haven't seen him either.

Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Within those couple of months, Bakugo started to realize his feelings for Midoriya. One weekend morning, Midoriya was out taking a walk and getting fresh air.

Midoriya: *walking towards the park with his hoodie on and head down*

Bakugo: *walking towards the cafe and sees Midoriya* DEKU?

Midoriya: *stops immediately and whispers to himself* Damn. I can't hide from him.

Bakugo: *walks towards him* Hey, Deku. *Now standing in front of him*

Midoriya: *backs up a little with head down* W-what do you want?

Bakugo: Where have you been? You haven't been to school for 3 months. Your friends are worried.

Midoriya: *head still down* Tch. What friends? You mean YOUR friends. I have no friends.

Bakugo: What do you mean?

Midoriya: *takes the hoodie off and lifts his head up, exposing the scar*

Bakugo: *shocked from what he sees* Deku! What happened?

Midoriya: You forgot you blew my face up that day? It was the day before I stopped going to school. I had to get stitches. They couldn't do anything about my eye. So I'm permanently blind in my left eye thanks to you. I figured if I stop going to school that the bullying would stop, but I was wrong. Here you are. I can run, but can't ever hide. It's whatever. Everywhere I go, I'll get bullied.

Bakugo: *slowly tries to touch his scar*

Midoriya: *sees him reaching and immediately backs up out of his reach* No. You've done enough. My life is ruined because of you. I have no friends because of you. I'm permanently blind in my left eye because of you. *starts sobbing a little* I can't even go to public places looking like this without people thinking that I'm a villain. *stops sobbing and wipes his tears away* Whatever. My life is done. So just..... Leave me alone. *walks away*

Bakugo: *stands there watching him walk away and recollecting everything he has done to him growing up*

Growing up, Bakugo did horrible things to Midoriya that he's not proud of now. He felt extremely terrible about it that he didn't eat not spoken to anyone, including his friends. One night, Midoriya was out walking. When he was walking across the street to the park, he gets hit by a semi truck. Luckily he had his wallet on him. With Bakugo.

Bakugo: *sitting on the couch flipping through the channels and stops when he sees a picture of Midoriya on the top right corner of the screen* Hm?

News Reporter: This just in. 16 year old Izuku Midoriya has been severely hit by a semi truck. People said that he was walking across the street to the park when the incident happened. We will come back once we have an update on his condition.

When Bakugo heard what happened on the news, panic started to set in, along with guilt, remorse, grievance and deep depression.

Bakugo: *tears up* No. Deku. I'm sorry. Please don't leave. Don't leave me alone. I need you.

Mitsuki: *comes down stairs and sees her son about to cry* Katsuki? Is everything alright?

Bakugo: *shakes head no and points to the TV*

Mitsuki: *looks at the TV and puts her hands over her mouth in shock*

Bakugo: *bursts out crying* Mom. It's my fault.

Mitsuki: *runs over to him* What do you mean?

Bakugo: *crying hard* It's my fault he's in the hospital. I've done bad, horrible things to him. All these years of bullying him and now he's suffering because of me. I ruined his life. I'm so sorry, mom. I'm sorry.

Mitsuki: *hugs him tight* It's okay, honey. All we have to do now is hope and pray he survives.
