CHAPTER FOUR [REVISED]

Ryan was persistent in being a part of his daughter's life. After all he was her father, he had equal rights in her life just as Mitchelle, but he abandoned them and didn't even care that they existed a few months ago so what had made him change.

A banging knock to the wooden door of the Carter residence had the possibility to awake a dead town, Jayden sat on the couch with his eyes connected to the sitcom. He had watched The Proud family more than the money, his third generations would even make in one lifetime. Indolently, he threw the remote on the couch, and pushed his weary body to the very patient visitor. Obviously not paying endurance to his poor ear lobes.

Jayden blinked his undeniable long eye lashes a couple times, as his cerebrum lost illegibility to the familiarity of the figure.
His unkempt coffee brown hair was exactly the same as a lion, his pale white skin didn't even glow at the golden hour and he was ridiculously tall as a pole.

"How may I help you?" Jayden's raspy voice questioned the man with messy beard.

"I came to to see Michelle, and Who are you? Why are you in her house anyways?"He answered blankly; His pupils diluted at the young man with mesmerizing skin and a bright smile.

"Come in."Jayden shifted his structured body as he allowed Ryan indoors ignoring his inquires.

Jayden sat and listened to the man his boss Michelle loathed the most; Ryan's words didn't disclosed much but it had favor.

Michelle's P.O.V

If I had plates in my hands they would  have fell to the ground; even such wouldn't have made such an impact like this.
The man that tore my blood vessels and ripped my heart away like a used material. Ryan Miller stood six feet strong and towered my phsique.

I couldn't stand that I shared the same oxygen as this shameless man. Much less I shared my baby with him; our daughter, my princess.

He must be crazy like his brown hair to think he can come back into my well our lives.

*Flash back *

"Jade, where is he?" I asked as I winced in pain, the contractions were getting worse and it was getting closer for the baby to pop.

"Missit's time." The nurse informed strictly , as I watched my cousin Jade moved over to my other side, as she held my warm hands and I clinged to her well manicured fingers  for support and tried to pop this baby out.

End of flash back.

Ryan was never there and abandoned us as antique. He left me when I wanted him the most. He wasn't  there to held my hands when the contractions hit my system as hard as a rock or rubbed my back when I poured out my stomach's content. I suffered those lonely nights. Like any other woman, even though I was financially inclined ; I longed for his touch, his care and love well at least for my baby's sake. I smiled away the bitterness and the ghosts of my past. Nothing said or done couldn't change history, not today nor years.
