Todobaku- Bruises After a Late Night

{Fluff and a bit Angsty. Art is not mine. Also, the title is not what it seems for all of you dirty minded heathens.}

Bakugo walked into their shared apartment. He knew that it was late.

Bakugo had to stay out later because of an unexpected villain attack. He was on patrol and was walking to his agency when he heard a scream. He caught up to the villain, but apprehending him was a challenge. When Bakugo had finally managed to do so, three hours had passed. He came home about thirty minutes after that, which meant he walked though the door around 11:30. He already knew Todoroki would be pissed.

Bakugo had been dreading his boyfriend's reaction the whole way home. Todoroki's expressions changed really easily. You could never really tell with IcyHot.

The first thing Bakugo noticed was the quietness in the room. He felt scared. He hoped that Todoroki would be sleeping, but not gone. Bakugo felt his breath hitch as he searched the small apartment.

He let out a sigh of relief as he saw white and red hair on the couch. He kneeled down next to the other man's face. He gave him a sweet kiss on the nose to wake him up. The man on the couch slowly fluttered his eyes open. He was met with a loving gaze. He was about to fall back asleep when he realized what he was doing in the first place. He suddenly glared at the blond.

"What the hell Katsuki." Bakugo tensed, but was ready for this reaction.

"Look, I didn't mean to stay out so late, I swear." Todoroki didn't look convinced. "I promise," Bakugo enforced. He didn't want his lover to be mad at him. Todoroki sighed and started to sit up. Bakugo felt his heart flutter in anxiousness. Todoroki had a blank stare until he rolled his eyes.

"Okay, whatever," was all he said. Bakugou's heart sank. Since the dumbass couldn't understand an apology, he would have to try a different tacit.

Before the other had a chance to move, Bakugo shoved his arms on either side of Todoroki. Bakugo was now sitting on Todoroki's lap, trapping him completely. Todoroki looked into the other's eye with a blank expression and a raised eyebrow. Todoroki was expecting an answer and Bakugo hadn't yet planned his next move. He looked down into Todoroki's multicolored eyes. Todoroki was taller than him {and top ;)} so Bakugo never really had this position. He gained a bit of confidence.

"I'm sorry Shoto." He said it with such a genuine tone; Todoroki was a little surprised. He sighed and looked down. He really didn't know how to feel. He did know that he shouldn't blame his boyfriend for something out of his control. He looked back up to a Bakugo expecting answers. Todoroki managed a small smile and put a hand on his boyfriend's cheek. Bakugo leaned into the touch a bit, waiting for an answer. Todoroki gave him a small pec and put their forheads together.

"It's okay Katsuki. It wasn't your fault." Todoroki gave Bakugo a kiss on the neck which made the blond shiver, "I'm just a bit upset my boyfriend's job kept him away from me."

Bakugo was happy that Todoroki had forgiven him, even though he really didn't do anything wrong. Bakugo gave Todoroki a smile. Todoroki couldn't help but smile a bit too. He went to give his boyfriend a hug when Bakugo let out a squeak of pain. Todoroki grew worried, and it showed in his face.

"Katsuki. What's wrong," he said in a pleading or stern tone, Bakugou couldn't tell, but he felt his breath hitch either way. He did get a few bruises from chasing the villain earlier, but he was too focused on getting home to his lover that he didn't really pay attention. Now, they hurt. A lot.

Before Bakugo could answer, Todoroki was already carrying him to the bathroom. He sat the blond on the counter and pulled Bakugo's shirt off his head. What he saw horrified him.

Bakugo had a big blue bruise around his ribs and along his back.

"Katsuki." Todoroki went to touch the wounds, but Bakugo flinched back. These were serious. Todoroki put on his blank expression and got to work. This was not the first time that Bakugo had been hurt, so Todoroki had an idea of what to do. He went into the kitchen and quickly came back. He picked up Bakugo bridal style, which Bakugo liked more than he would care to admit, and walked him over to their bedroom. He laid him on top of the bed and grabbed the ice pack he left on the bedside table. He put the ice pack over the blond's wounds.

Bakugo flinched at the sudden contact, but his boyfriend kept the ice pack on. Bakugo eventually got used to the temperature. After around twenty minutes, Todoroki put the ice pack back on the bedside table. Bakugo shivered and Todoroki reluctantly used his flames to heat him up a bit. Bakugo closed his eyes and smiled. He was tired and ready to fall asleep. Todoroki smiled and leaned in to give his boyfriend a kiss on the forehead.

Bakugo was too tired to take a shower or change, but Todoroki knew that wasn't okay. He didn't want to, but he nudged Bakugo awake. He let out a groan of protest before opening his eyes.

"Your disgusting. At least change before you fall asleep." Bakugo reluctantly rolled out of bed and headed to their dresser. He grabbed some clothes and headed out of the room. Todoroki watched him leave before walking over to the bed. He heard the shower water running and relaxed a little bit. He pulled the covers out from under the pillows and plopped down into the bed. He relaxed into the covers and felt himself sink. He was slowly letting his conscience slip through his fingers.

Bakugo came back to his boyfriend's light snores. He smiled and slowly got into the bed, mindful of his bruises. Todoroki woke up a little bit.

"Hmm?"

"Go back to sleep Sho."

"Nn, okay," he said as he rapped his arms around the blond. Todoroki managed to avoid any bruises and was now spooning the other. Bakugo smiled at the contact and relaxed into the bed. Todoroki gave Bakugo a small kiss on the neck before falling asleep.

"Goodnight Katsuki."

"Night IcyHot."

So, I get that both of these characters were a bit too OOC, but I had to think of something.

When I think of Todobaku, I think badass power couple or smut, so this whole loving thing was a bit of a challenge, in a good way.
