It's finally time for movie night you all grab some blankets and pillows and lay down on the couches cash and Sara were cuddled up on one couch while you and mav were on another but you were far from him

Just then cash came through the kitchen door

Cash: hey guys ooooh what's for breakfast
Mav: pancakes

Just then mav snapped you out of your thoughts

You say while walking over to the pancake stack and taking one-off and putting syrup on it

He says while you go sit down and take a bite out of your pancake

You get up and walk away to the couch He comes from the kitchen sits down next to you and puts his arm around you

You: maverick if I need to tell you again I'm going to scream
"I was pretty mad at this point because I don't want him to know that I like him again what if he doesn't like me back then that will ruin our friendship"
Just then my phone rings
You: oh shoot my phone is upstairs
Mav: I'll go get it
You: sit back down and don't you fucking get up
I walk upstairs and get my phone I see a missed call from my EX I call him back and ask him what he wants

*MAVS POV*
I went upstairs to check if she was okay because it took her a long time I know she told me to sit down but I'm curious about who called her then when I reached my bedroom door I heard her say something that broke my heart "I'm not into you I'm into someone else and it's not you" a tear rolled down my cheek I quickly wiped it away and went back downstairs I was mad I really liked her but what if she doesn't like me back and I tell her and I embarrass myself also our friendship could break whatever I'll just downstairs and pretend nothing happened.
