~Kei's POV~
I panted as I ran away from unknown attackers.
>>Flashback<<
“Yah!” I turned around to the owner of the voice. I was in my other self, Kei, the gangster.
“Waeyo?” I asked and raised an eyebrow.
“Go get her boys.” Men surrounded me. I smirked triumphantly, knowing that I could beat them even if it’s 7 or 8 to 1.
*An ambush? How pathetic!* I exclaimed in my mind. A man stepped up from the darkness and I couldn’t see his face clearly. He cracked his knuckles and rotated his neck, in an attempt to look cool.
“Ambush? How low…” I snarled and my smirk widen as I saw their priceless reactions. Most of them were taken aback at my boldness and bluntness to speak those words to another gang.
Since I’m the newest recruit of the famous, female gang in the Eastern part of Seoul, f(x), there are less people who know about my existence.
I punched the nearest man to me, square in the face and kicked another one on the chest when he tried to attack me. I put the other one in a tight headlock before throwing him to one of his comrades.
I elbowed a man who twisted my other arm and he went on a coughing fit. I kneed the last one in his precious area. Some were already knocked out or sprawled on the concrete floor in the alley and two or 3 were standing strong.
I did the first thing in my mind. Run!
>>End of Flashback<<
I ran and ran, until I reached my gang’s hideout, where I found them lounging, laughing and chatting.
They all jumped in surprise when they heard the door burst open with a loud noise. I wiped the sweat and grime off of my face.
Our leader, Victoria, Vic umma or unnie as we call her, stood up from her seat with a worried expression on her face while looking at me.
“Who… attacked you?” I heard her asked as I bent down to catch my breath. I shut the door before heading to the couch inside the place and plopping down beside Amber.
“I don’t know… They just attacked me with no reason…” I said in between breaths.
“Are you okay, Kei?” I nodded at Sulli as she sent me a wary gaze. I gave her a bright smile signalling that I was alright and nothing happened. She returned it with her own and went towards me to pat my head.
We heard voices outside our hideout and I immediately recognized it as my attackers’ voices. My expression stiffened as soon as I heard their leader’s instruction, “Check that room over there. That girl might be hiding in there.”
All six of us stood up and took our positions, getting ready for the upcoming action. The door burst open again, revealing a man from a while ago. I could see a bruise forming on his cheekbone which made me smirk, unknowingly.
“There she is!” He shouted to the direction of his companions.
“What do you want from her?” Luna unnie snarled at the man. Soon, his other subordinates went inside the room.
“B-boss, she’s with f(x)! W-what d-do we do?” Another man said to their leader. I can notice that all of them paled at the sight of our gang, under the small light in our hideout.
“Shit!” Their leader cursed. “Let’s go, before they beat us up.” They ran away, leaving the door wide open.
Krystal snorted and went to the door to close it. We all sighed in relief and sat down on the couches.
“Did you beat them up, Yurin-ah?” Krystal asked me as she sat down beside me.
I nodded, “They provoked me first. Why wouldn’t I beat them up?” I smirked. She shook her head and put me into a headlock.
“Yah! Unnie!” I whined as I pull away from her. I pouted at her and fixed my hair.
She stuck her tongue out. “Choding.” I mumbled.
“Oh! I remember!” Sulli suddenly snapped her fingers which made us look at her out of curiosity.
“What is it?” Vic umma asked.
“I heard that there’ll be 3 transferees from Cube Academy.” Our eyes widened and we all froze on our spot.
“W-what did you say?” I stuttered. Cube Academy? That’s where 4 Minute’s maknae is attending… What would they possibly want from our school?
“Do you know any more information about your transferees?” Sulli nodded.
“As far as I know, they’re also in a gang. I don’t think you’ve heard of them before, because they’re just new, but based on some of my researches as soon as I heard the rumours, they’re a male gang.” She tapped her chin as she passed the information to us.
“What’s the name of their gang?” Luna unnie interrogated as her eyebrows pinched together.
“It starts with letter B… I think it’s along the lines of Born To Beat or something. But their gang name is BTOB for short.”
“I’ve heard of them.” Luna unnie informed. I cocked an eyebrow at her, signalling her to continue.
“How?” I queried. She turned to look at me with a smile. “Why do you want to know?” I rolled my eyes.
“They might be killers for all we care and murder the three of us while we’re at school.” I sarcastically told her. Everyone in the room chuckled.
“No, they’re not. But I heard they’re strong for a rookie gang. They’ve beaten up several local gangs and some of the gangs were formed for a year or so…” Vic umma furrowed her eyebrows, while Amber just stared ahead, obviously spacing out.
“Then, all of us should be careful…” Umma said in a whispering tone. “Why so?” Krystal spoke up.
“Some of them are also transferring to our university… I think it would be best if we are to avoid them at all costs to avoid trouble. I don’t want any of you getting hurt. Even if they’re a new gang, based on the rumours, true or not, if they are really strong, then we should be really cautious.” She suggested. We all nodded in agreement, showing that we got her message.
