fernstar glared down at waterlily hatred in his eyes ''you scratched an apprentice just because he accidentally scared off your prey? stop acting like a kit and go see if he's alright'' he hissed annoyed waterlily glared back at the leader lashing her tail ''that mousebrain deserved it! he's almost worse then your 4.. oh wait nevermind 3 furballs'' she smirked ''icekit died because you couldn't look after your kits and i see an evil lurking in snakepaw hes bad news!!'' she hissed launching at fernstar claws unsheathed. fernstar froze for a moment then glared at her pinning her ''snakepaw is loyal to springclan!! i dont know or care what your talking about!'' he hissed slashing waterlily's throat he then froze as blood splattered on his paws he quickly got off but it was too late. waterlilys eyes slowly went dark and she stopped struggling lying in a pool of her own blood a calm expression on her face fernstar froze then looked around terrified he saw the lake nd quickly dragged waterlily over to the lake and dropping her in he quickly washed off his paws then ran back to the camp terrified
Snakepaw was chasing after his sister sunpaw furiously "give me back the mouse!!!!" Snakepaw hissed not noticing stonepaw sitting alone in the apprentices den.
His father fernstar stepped over to the biggest rock in the territory "All cats old enough to defend themselves come to the clearing for a very important clan meeting.." fernstar said sadness lurking in his eyes. the elders slowly padded there way into the clearing obviously annoyed they had to get up. stonepaw sat in the back by a big willow tree hoping no one noticed him.. "I hate to have to do this but.. Clan life isn't for me... You all depend on me.. So.. Instead I'm giving you a better leader.. I know he's young but he'll get older and I trust him.. My son.. snakepaw." Fernstar smiled slight sadness in his eyes snakepaw froze fear in his eyes"fernstar? What do you mean? You're leader! and I'm not even a warrior yet... " snakepaw hissed betrayal in his eyes as he unsheathed his claws "I'm sorry.. I know.. but this clan is your family now... I'm sorry.. I killedwaterlily." Our leader killed waterlily?!}} He thought to himself mortified of what he just heard but before he could say anything fernstar was padding off towards the entrance of the camp everyone was staring at him hatred in there eyes snakepaw froze then began running after him fear in his eyes ''no!! dad please!'' he hissed tears streaming down his cheeks and his fur pricked up a mixture of many emotions in his eyes
