"Come on D'Artagnan, get on or we'll leave without you." Porthos called, trying to keep the boat steady.
"Okay, I'm coming." D'Artagnan sighed, beginning to step on the boat, "Wait, look. It's the girls."
"Great." Porthos muttered sulkily, "Now we're going to have to wait another ten hours." Aramis started to laugh but stopped when D'Artagnan shot him a confused look.
"Are you going sailing?" Anne asked, running up to them, Constance was beside her.
"Well, we're trying to." Porthos rolled his eyes.
"Oh, I love sailing! Could we come?" Anne asked, excitedly.
"There's not enough room." Porthos shrugged, "Oh well, looks like you'll have to go sailing on your own."
"It's fine, I wouldn't want to come anyway." Constance told them, "I hate sailing."
"See, she doesn't want to come!" Anne exclaimed.
"You can't leave her on her own." Porthos pointed out.
"I could stay with her." D'Artagnan called eagerly, "I mean, if she wants. I'm not too bothered about sailing, to be honest." He added, trying to sound more casual.
"Okay, that's settled then." Anne smiled, stepping onto the boat, "Bye guys!" She smiled.
As D'Artagnan began to walk away with Constance, he turned back, winking slightly at Aramis, he smiled back. He hoped it would work out for him.

"Jesus, your girlfriend does not shut up." Porthos tutted to Athos as they walked back to their dorm.
"She's not my girlfriend." Athos sighed.
"Whatever she is, she's annoying." Porthos laughed, Aramis chuckled along with him.
"Alright guys, let's not be rude." Athos muttered.
"Oh, sorry." Porthos mumbled sarcastically.
"I wonder where D'Artagnan went." Athos thought aloud, Aramis started to smirk. "What? Why are you smiling?"
"I'm not." Aramis defended.
"Yes you are!" Porthos laughed, "What do you know?"
"Nothing." Aramis laughed, raising his hands to prove his innocence, Athos raised his eyebrows.
"Aramis?"
"Fine." Aramis sighed, giving in easily, "He likes Constance."
"Well that wasn't obvious." Athos laughed.
"Don't tell him!" Aramis ordered, "He told me privately."
"What? When he called you out of the dorm?" Porthos asked.
"Yes." Aramis nodded, "I must be a dating guru." Athos scoffed and Aramis shoved him playfully. "Just don't say anything."
As the boys relax in their dorm, D'Artagnan came in,
"Had fun with your little girlfriend?" Athos asked, smirking.
"Athos!" Aramis exclaimed.
"You told them?" D'Artagnan asked, turning to Aramis.
"I'm sorry," he sighed, "they'd already guessed, and they made me tell them."
"It's fine, I was gonna tell them anyway." D'Artagnan shrugged, "Thanks for the advice though, I think she might like me back."
"Really?" Porthos asked, interested.
"Yep." D'Artagnan grinned, jumping onto his bed. "In fact, she asked me if I wanted to sit with her at dinner tonight!"
"Get in there!" Porthos laughed, slowly his laughter died out, "Wait, that means Anne is gonna want to sit with us." He rolled his eyes.
"Maybe Athos will talk to her then." Aramis muttered, trying his luck.
"If only." Porthos smirked.
"I'm not listening." Athos called.

That evening, dinner dragged a little, well in Porthos' opinion. Athos spoke to Anne a lot and kept turning to look at D'Artagnan and Constance, they looked like they getting on, very well.
As they left their table, Athos leaned into Aramis and Porthos' ears,
"She wants to go for a walk so I might do that."
"Ooh." Aramis wiggled his eyebrows.
"See you later." Athos clapped their arms before heading off in the opposite direction with Anne.
"You want to go back to the dorm?" Porthos asked.
"Might as well." Aramis shrugged.
"Looks like we'll be meeting D'Artagnan later." Porthos chuckled.
"Apparently so." Aramis laughed.
As they walked home they were lost in conversation and continued talking when they got back to the dormitory,
"What time is it?" Porthos asked, yawning.
"I don't know," Aramis replied, they had lost track of time, "it's pretty late, I wonder what they're doing."
"I don't know." Porthos smirked, winking, Aramis laughed.
A little while later, the bedroom door slammed open, Athos and D'Artagnan came in, laughing.
"Oh, look what the cat dragged in." Aramis sighed, leaning back in bed.
"Where were you both?" Porthos asked.
"The girls' dorm." Athos laughed.
"Excuse me?" Aramis exclaimed.
"Just to say bye!" D'Artagnan chuckled.
"Okay..." Porthos muttered sceptically.
"For the whole evening?" Aramis asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well me and Anne went for a walk and then we saw D'Artagnan and Constance so we just hung out for a while." Athos shrugged.
"I'm offended we weren't invited." Porthos joked.
"I think we'd be majorly third wheeling." Aramis chuckled.
As their conversation died down, Aramis rolled over in his bed and fell into a deep sleep.
