3rd Person POV6 year old bright silver eyes gleamed as light slipped past dreary grey clouds, through lightly smudged glass, and finally reached her irises. It bounced around in the young girls endless pool of liquid steel and made them shimmer along with her joy.
Light brown hair trimmed to her shoulders waved down in short locks that were tied back in a short pony tail that looked like a bobcats tail.
Some wild wavy strands had escaped the tie and framed her slightly bony face. A high pitched groan slid from between her teeth, or lack of.
Both the front had fallen out, one of them already growing back, and one of the bottom ones where deathly lose. It made eating apples very
difficult. Her hand was smooshed on her face childishly as she rolled her eyes deeply. "Okay come get your rain jacket and boots on," a soft caring voice flooded from the kitchen. The small girl glowed with joy as she scrambled over to her sweet mother. She threw on the light orange water proof jacket and shoved her small feet in her equally small bubble gum pink galoshes.
The rain jacket was more of a dress due to the way engulfed her small form and went just past her knees. Sky blue shorts were on underneath though. She tightly hugged and kissed her mother and shouted a goodbye. Her little boots stomped on the cabins new wooden floors.
She quickly flung open the back door and ran into their back yard which just so happened to be a seemingly endless forest with no one around for miles.
Small squishing thumps pounded through the forest. She wooped and yipped with joy. A bright smile was plastered on her faces, gaps showing the inside of her mouth. Looking im the distance she saw a light purple flower patch danced in the rain.
She giggled and didn't hesitate to run over. The ground got more rocky as she slammed her rubber boots into the ground. Every step seemed to move the flower patch closer, but higher. She didn't take her eyes off of then and continued to run.
The only time she stopped is when the ground abandoned her feet. Her face twisted in confusion and for a couple milliseconds she was seemingly floating in mid air. Until gravity wrapped its claws around her and quickly snatched her towards the far away earth.
Her shrill screams echoed on the sides of the ravine gravity thrusted her into. As she cried her tears flew up her cheeks in streams. The chill wind whipped around her clothing as she plummeted. Her arms and legs flailed wildly as her throat became raw.
Facing straight down she saw the group approaching very quickly. "I love you mom, " was the last thing she that before passing out.
Right before she hit the group and white blur skidded into view and cushioned the fall with its thick fur and fat. Even though she didn't land on rocks the girl was still badly broken. The spirit bear that caught her rushed her out of the ravine and back into the forest.
A loud roar bounced threw the leaves. Soon a being not from this world approached. They planted a hand on the bleeding body of the nearly dead child. The flesh molded back together and bones unsnapped themselves.
They smile at the child and pick her up. They start the journey the the other worldly beings home. But first a portal.
Wrapping sounds of the fabric of our universe being torn open wirled softly in front of the creature. It's tall limbs matched its elegant tall body. Royal blue robes flooded around the creatures feet paws, housing the soft, light grey digitigrade legs that connected to a being that had solid golden eyes. It long pointed hears naturally stood up on the fuzzy head. A rack of black antlers stood above its head with its massive ears.
They're muzzle was short with a charcoal black nose. It's whip thin tail with a tuft of dark grey hair lashed behind themselves. Sharp black nails slid back into their pouches as to not hurt the youngling.
Once one is touched by a Ziemflint, a ancient species that has dwindled down to only a few left, they are no longer what they used to be and would start to transform into a Ziemflint. "I'm sorry kit, you had to leave this life so early. But, worry not. Once you rise you will be new but still you. I will teach and guide you. Raise you to be one of us HighBeings, " the Ziemflint whispered softly to the slowly transforming child. HighBeings were elite society that had no problems or conflict. With not much else to do after becoming immortal, they wander around different planes of existence looking for someone to help. Some times taking them in as apprentices. They pat her head as they walked through. the portal. "I hope you like your new life kit, " The creature whispered once more.
