"C'mon Zuzu!" Eri walked behind Shinsou, a little so excited for her own good. Shinsou looked back to stare at Izuku who seemed to in fact be taking his own precious time.
"You're taking forever 'Zuku." Shinsou groaned while walking in front of Eri.
"I'm not in any rush Nii-Chan." Izuku stuck his tongue out at Shinsou who sighed while rolling his eyes. "We have some time, about six hours of it." Izuku reassured.
"Yeah but it's a thirty minute walk."
"Let's be realistic, we are gonna stop somewhere, that's why we left early. At least Eri seems to be enjoying herself, what's up with you?"
Eri as if on cue ran by chasing a butterfly, she had been wearing a pink summer dress with her outside sneakers, both Izuku supplied her with some of his savings. He purposefully bought the bright pink to see her stick out in the greens so that it was harder to lose her when they went on their walks.
"My problem is that I dont wanna miss sunset, and I wanna be able to eat the food. To actually relax a bit. You know, the reason why we came here."
"We will, promise." Izuku held out his pinky, to which Shinsou connected his pinky to. Shaking hands, they both said 'promise' and broke apart at the same time. Holding the small basket Shinsou packed for the three of them, he watched Izuku start to chase Eri before picking her up and sitting her on Izukus shoulders. They both smiled towards Shinsou as they kept moving ahead.

"53 bottles of beer on the wall, 53 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 52 bottles of beer on the wall!"
This time, Izuku was holding their basket full of items while Shinsou and Eri had the time of their lives. His ears burned with annoying rhymes that never seemed to end but he couldn't do anything about it. He didn't wanna ruin their fun. Shinsou still led the way while Izuku walked behind the two. As they came across a gap with a tree for a bridge. Shinsou and Eri both stopped to allow Izuku to walk across the bridge first, pausing to look at the creek directly below it.
Eri came over, a little wobbly, but that's why Izuku went first so he could catch Eri if she was by his half- and Shinsou could catch her if she was closer to him. Eri hopped off the log and waited for Shinsou to come on over, who walked on it casually. Not paying much attention to the creek. Eri however, saw a frog and immediately ran down the side of the creek to go meet it there. Luckily she was wearing her outside shoes because it definitely was muddy over there, Shinsou immediately went down to keep her company while Izuku stayed at the top. He took a breath in as he examined his surroundings.
Closing his eyes, he let himself bath in the light. As if washing off five days worth of imprisonment to these two special days of freedom. He inhaled. Hearing Eri gasp at frogs she found and Shinsou laughing at Eri panic from a frog jumping upon her. Those huffs of exhales, he always does it when he smiles at something that truly makes him happy. Their heartbeats, steady.
He exhaled. The sounds of nature he practically allowed himself to drown in, the trees rustling, birds chirping. Occasional munching from a bunny who had found something to eat. The water in the nearby creek running, and insects buzzing around it. Frogs croaking. He heard the birds fly away, a rustling in the bushes. Much too large to be a regular creature. It made him frown as he listened closer and heard something a creature could never make. A whisper.
With a sharp intake of air, he looked around him. It had took him a second to register his hearing, the audio he was picking up came in with too much information to pick up what exactly he heard right away. He hadn't been looking for a person or something large for that matter, he had just been listening. Walking over to the creek, Izuku jumped down into the water and splashed some water onto Eri and Shinsou. Eri giggled only louder when Izuku threw her up onto his shoulders.
Izuku looked at Shinsou with a strained smile. "We wouldn't wanna be late for our picnic?" Shinsou wasn't dumb, he knew what that meant.
Izukus' frantic movements and fake smile, he had picked up on something that wasn't suppose to be there. He gulped at the thought of something big enough to make Izuku panic simply hiding out in the woods. The safest spot to go would by the hill (cliff really), the woods stopped as soon as their Hill started to rise. There if something decided to jump out, Izuku would have enough room to fight it.
Standing up, Shinsou climbed out of the creek first. Reaching down to grab their little picnic basket while Izuku climbed out of the hole on his own with Eri on his back. Reaching his hand out, Shinsou helped Izuku stand up and they both continued their walk over to the hill side.
Shinsou looked back at Eri and smiled while discreetly beginning to countdown.
"52 bottles of beer of the wall-!"
"uuuuuAAAAAAAAHHH" Izuku screamed out in anger so loud any birds around them immediately flew into the distance, while Shinsou and Eri started to laugh so hard, they got abs from it for at least a day.
~~~~~~~
Seeing the trees start to disperse made the Trio smile. There it was. Their Hill. Stopping, Izuku pulled Eri off of his shoulders. Grabbing the towel Shinsou had in the picnic, she ran up the hill side and to the top. Quickly she laid out the the thin towel and sat rocks on all four corners of it, and sat in the shade waiting for her brothers to meet her up there.
Pausing, Shinsou looked over to meet Izukus incredibly shit eating grin. "We made it, didn't we?" Shinsou punched his arm before walking up the hill, hiding his own smirk.
Shinsou sat the basket down and opened it, Izuku layed out all the paper towels and plastic utensils while Shinsou laid out the meals. It was just a turkey sandwich for him and Eri, but Izuku got some Red Beef with literally nothing else. For Desert, Shinsou and Eri got to share a candied apple while Izuku got some coffee.
Dietary Restrictions weren't fun. Izuku was forced to eat like a literal Carnivore. He did enjoy coffee though. Eri and Shinsou were perfectly fine though, something that made Izuku a little bitter as he wondered what some of the stuff they ate tasted like but- he would never know.
They ate it silence, Eri asking the occasional question as she normally did and as always, Izuku and Shinsou did their best to answer.
"Are moths reject butterflies?"
"Are all Pro Heroes good people?"
"Do you ever miss home home?"
"What's your favorite snack!?"
They sat at the hill watching the sunset go down and looked over at the Orphanage to watch people go back inside. It was quiet these days. They like it that way. Eri even was quiet, but probably due to a loss of energy and the food she had just eaten.
It was about a hour session, them now packing up their trash and getting ready to go rather quickly. Eri ironically had a fear of the dark and only went outside because Shinsou and Izuku was with her. People she knew would always protect her. Plus, fireflies!
Eri gasped as she saw all of the Fireflies. There were more then usual and you can bet the small white haired child was all for it. She danced around the bright colored creatures while Shinsou and Izuku packed up.
Shinsou smiled as he reached over to the lone tree that stood in the spot and reached into a little hidden hole. Taking out a Polaroid he took a picture of the scene and grabbed the photo. 'So innocent!' he thought to himself with a smirk while placing the polaroid back into the tree hole and closing it back up. He was about to show the picture to Izuku before pausing to stare at him.
He was growling, why? Shinsou reached out to grab Izuku but before he could, he took off. "Eri!"
"Izuku what's wrong-", Shinsou glanced at the picture one last time before seeing it, a man in a black suit just walking out of the woods while staring at Eri. Blending in with the dark of the night.
The white haired girl looked back at Izuku and Shinsou as the man reached out to grab her.
