Kris shoved Susie back, shaking and staring the girl down with bright red eyes, "I'm done with your bullshit! I don't need you! I don't want you!"
Susie stared at the human in a mix of shock and fear. What had gotten into her?
"All you do is scream at me and shove me and fucking lie to me! You don't care about me, your using me aren't you Susie!?"
"No!" Susie choked out. "I'm not! I care about you, I haven't lied to you once Kris! I've grown to care-"
"Bullshit! I don't need you, I don't trust you anymore! Just go steal some chalk and fucking eat it, you hobo!"
Susie froze in place, before letting out a growl, "What did you call me?"
"A hobo!"
Susie slammed Kris into a wall before she could stop and think, "You know the only reason you aren't fucking dead-"
"Is because my moms a nice woman and it would be a shame to make her bury her child." Kris hissed, wiggling from her grip. "At least I have a mother to bury me. To care about me. To be a nice woman."
Susie stood with her head down as Kris walked out of the hall, leaving her alone with her thoughts.
-
Susie sat in the school bathroom, staring at her reflection with a frown.
"Your a liar." She told herself. "A lying piece of shit, a hobo." She continued, opening a bottle of pain medication she stole from the teacher.
"A homeless waste of space."
Tilting her head back, Susie put the bottle of pills in her mouth. After a few moments, she managed to swallow them. Shakily, she leaned down to the sink and washed her face, sipping some of the water.
With a fake smile, she headed out of the bathroom and out of the school. She walked past the police station, the library, Kris's house.
She ended up by the lake. Calmly, Susie sat in the sand, staring out at the horizon with a smile.
Finally, finally she would be free from this world.
She leaned her head on her knee and just stared at the waves, her eye lids growing heavy.
It's my time.
She closed her eyes and let everything stop.
-
She woke with a start, someone pushing on her chest. She coughed and sputtered, leaning over and throwing up. The pills, they're out of her system.
No, no, no!
Susie began to cry as she coughed up water, her whole body trembling weakly.
She glanced at the person who had been pushing on her chest, anger rising in her.
It was Kris.
"What the hell! I was finally free! I was finally gone and y-you-!" Susie weakly stood and shoved Kris. "YOU TOOK IT FROM ME! YOU FUCKING HATE ME!"
Kris stared at her blankly, "I don't hate you enough to let you-"
"Let me die? Why, why Kris? Cause you would have to live with that guilt!?"
Kris didn't say anything, looking towards the ground.
"Fuck You," Susie spat. "Fuck you. I don't want you around me, I don't want you talking to me. You took my happiness! You took my fucking hope and I hate you for it!"
With a heave, Susie fell to her knees. Sniffling, she wiped her nose, "Just leave."
After a few moments, she heard Kris start to move.
She listened to the footsteps until she was gone.
She was alone again.
She was alive, breathing.
She failed.
