Chapter 2 "Hurt"

Russia's POV

I was banging on the bars of my cage on my way to the arena. When all of a sudden I got hit with these light sticks.

They burned my skin.

I was brought to the arena and waited for my next meal to come.

Then I saw him...

He was an American Demon, with a Blue square and a 50* on it with red and white strips, black crawling up from is feet and hand, and a black tail with red, white, and blue stars crawling up it from the tip. Kinda small but buff looking.

I couldn't help but think...

Why is he so familiar?...

I shook the feeling and got ready for lunch.

America's POV

I heard the doors open...

A 6 foot Russian Demon ran out. He stood on all fours and got ready to run.

He bolted at me, but gladly I was able to dodge it.

His face...

I know him...

He then grabbed me by his 10 foot long tail a squeeze me as tight as he could before slamming me to the ground almost breaking my back. I let out a gasp of air. I looked and saw that he was looking straight at me, ready to kill me. I slowly got up and limped over to him.

He looked confused, but then I lifted up my sunglasses.

He froze.

Russia's POV

"M-Mari?...Is t-that you?..."

"Russ!"

We ran up to each other and hugged each other.

Tears rolled down my face.

I thought I lost my only friend 20 years ago.

But no! He's alive! And right here with me! And I'll never let him go again!

Then I heard another cage burst open...

It all happened so fast...

One moment Mari was telling to move out of the way the other he stand in front of me with a through his side.

America's POV

I stood in front of Russia when I felt a rush of pain in my side. The Knife Demon just stabbed me with it tail.
And before I knew it I was being held up to Russ's chest for dear life.

It hurt...

I was scared...

Last thing I heard was Russia saying, "Stay with me Ame! Your gonna be okay!..."

Then everything went black and I passed out from bloodloss...
