_alt title > #GEN : head thoughts full of you
_
gen wasn't one to have his thoughts wander off to some place that's far away. he was supposedly observant. intelligent in his own ways. he was full of knowledge regarding the human mind and how they worked, how one's body language speaks, how one would express their feelings at certain events and why.
it really seemed like he wasn't one to have his thoughts drift away.
that's what majority of his fanbase thought, anyways.
gen could only go along with their assumption, maybe if he believed in their words hard enough, albeit a little bit impossible, it'd come true somehow.
now, those who presumed him as a man who always had his eyes open to observe everyone and everything has obviously never met him - it was obvious.
one could even say he was the least attentive person, but that was only because of his thoughts that was somehow, always filled with - kotone.
it could be during one of his interviews, in shows, in cafes, in his private quarters, no matter where, he always had a lovesick look plastered on his face.
gen would have his elbows propped, his head leaning against his hands and red hues scattered across his cheeks, his lips forming a giddy smile.
the mentalist wasn't one to get so attached to a girl - he would admit, he was a shallow man, indeed. though, he couldn't help himself but get wrapped around kotone's cute little fingers, he was almost a changed man. whipped, one would say, all for a girl who he has yet to ask out on an actual date instead of seeking for her love and affection from afar.
the half-half haired boy sighed longingly. the things he'd do just to have the goddess herself call him her man, god knows he'll be the happiest man alive if he found his ways in courting kotone.
it wasn't like he was a coward or anything, no, no. gen's big fat crush on kotone was as clear as the day - everyone knew he was too head over heels for the girl. though, some may remain ignorant in hopes that they'd have a chance with the mentalist, but they'd have to wait for hell to freeze over.
it simply was just... impossible.
some asked why he was still not in a relationship with the girl, and it was because the lady herself rejected him.
gen wouldn't lie, thinking back to the day he confessed his feelings to kotone and getting a straight 'no' hurt him. it pained him, even.
though, when he recalled her words afterwards perfectly, he felt his mood brightening and his blush returning to his cheeks, giggling like some sort of highschool girl with a crush on one of the hottest student in the school.
"oh.. i'm sorry to disturb you then, kotone-chan, i hope this doesn't ruin our friendship-" gen tried his best to sound as unbothered as he can, but the crack in his voice really gave it away.
