Damon's lost love/Eric Northman

Part 14

Its been a couple months I am about 2 months pregnant; Klaus and Damon are coming down today to talk to me about Eli. I was dressed in a baggy hoodie and sweats, I don't care as long as I'm comfy. Ares was up with me dressed in sweats and a black V neck shirt. I was laying on the office couch while Ares was doing some paperwork as we wait. "mom?" "mhm?" I looked at Ares as he sighed. "Why do you think they need to talk to us about Eli...I mean he has been updating us." he said. "I don't know they are probably just throwing a fit that he won't talk to them." I mumbled. He sighed softly as someone knocked on the door. "Come in." Ares said, we looked to see Ginger. "Klaus and Damon are here to see you." I nodded, "Let them in." I told her getting up. "Hello dear sister." Klaus said as I just looked at him blank. "What do you want Klaus." He scoffed. "That's no way to treat your twin." I looked at him. "Look you both wanted to talk about Eli so talk." I told him. "He got Caroline pregnant." I nodded and shrugged. "Okay and? What do you want me to do about it?" "He refuses to come talk to her about it." I groaned. 

I pulled out my phone and called Eli, "Hey mom!" he said happily, "Hey baby...so your father and uncle are here." he sighed sadly. "and..." I giggled softly. "Can you come and talk to me?" "Yeah I can I miss you...I guess I miss dad and Klaus too." He said. "I miss everyone else as well. Though M is taking care of me." "I know baby. Let me know when you get here." "Okay ma." he said as he hung up. "Happy?" I asked them as they nodded. I yawned. "I'm going back to bed you can stay here with Ares." I told them as Damon finally spoke up. "Can we talk? In private?" "let's go to the bar." he nodded leaving the office. Ares had a dark look in his eyes before telling me to be careful. I nodded as I closed the door when I walked out. I sat at the bar a stool away from Damon. "What do you need..." I asked making him look at me. "I'm sorry I went after Elena like that I shouldn't have...because I ran you back here." I looked at him with my head cocked a little bit. "No your son called Eric because I was alone and the one thing I hate is to be alone Damon you know that." He sighed. "I'm sorry." I scoffed, "Are you because the look alike?" He held his tongue as I looked at him, "I Know that Stefan had to put up with that shit before and I am not going to put myself or my child through that. Not again." I told him as he looked at me. "What do you mean again!" he growled at me. 

"Ares." I said as Damon looked at me confused, "Yes mother?" "The stress isn't good for me can you deal with him please." I said softly as he nodded. "Yes mother." He said darkly and I left. I went down to my bedroom with Eric. I got into bed and snuggled with Eric and I fell asleep once again. 

I woke up to someone getting into my bed, I groaned softly I opened one eye to see Eric gone and Eli trying to sneak in. I giggled softly. He looked at me and smiled. "How is Marcel?" he smirked. "Good he has been teaching me a lot mom." I smiled as I patted next to me. "Mom?" I heard Hebe and Ares at the same time. "Yeah?" "Is Eli in here?" "Yes he is right here." I told them as I put my head on his shoulder.  "So what are you going to do about Caroline?" he sighed softly, "I told her that after she gives birth the baby is going to be raised by me because she told me she didn't want the baby." my jaw dropped and Ares and Hebe had dark looks on their faces. I looked at him, "Have you talked to your uncle and your father?" He nodded. "They just lectured me like they always do and told me that i'm just like you." sighing I kissed his head. "Well you are my son." I giggled at him making him smile. "That is true. But lately I have been seeing Eric as a father because my own dad rather chase after tail lately and doesn't have any time for me. I mean technically you both are still married. Doesn't he have any common sense?" "look at it from our view though, he and I were in love we love one another still but...Not sure if we will ever be in love ever again. I mean look at Eric and I we will fight tooth and nail against one another but then we will be kissing and making up." Hebe snorted.

"Kissing? More like fucking." I blushed and shook my head at her smiling. "What ever you want to call it we make up all the time; now with our baby on the way we are trying to tone that shit down a little. Anyway get dressed everyone we have a bar to tend to!" I called. "Eli you can sleep." He smiled at me kissing my head. "Thanks mom." I smiled at him softly. "Of course baby." I grabbed some clothes before showering. I quickly dressed. I went up to the bar to see Eric on this Throne looking out at everyone, "Something wrong my love?" I asked him making him point to an area. I looked over to see Damon partying with the fang bangers. "Stupid...is what he is my king." he chuckled as he hugged me. Pam seen me as I winked at her. She smiled, "How are you love?" She smiled at me. "Fine, Fine been busy with Tara lately." I smiled softly. "Where is she?" "Visiting Sookie." I crinkled my nose at her as she laughed at me. I sat on Eric's lap and told Pam to sit in my throne. Hebe and Godfrey left for a "Date" she said. Ares is doing Eric's paperwork, Dante is with Jason and his wife, Gabriel is  with Eli sleeping cause Klaus woke him and kept him up all night.

I was about four months pregnant, Pam and Hebe demanded that the bar be closed tonight so they could throw me a baby shower thought I don't really need it but they invited everyone....even people from Mystic Falls..Oh boy. Caroline decided to come down so she could talk to Eli, and everyone threatened her that if she ruined it Ares could have his way. I didn't agree since she is pregnant. I was laying in bed till sundown I couldn't sleep I wasn't excited as Pam and Hebe were about this because they wouldn't let me know the gender of my baby. I didn't care about the gender I just hoped they were healthy. I felt a hand on mine, I looked to see Eli and Gabriel who had been glued together lately. I looked at them confused and they smiled at me. "What's going on?" I asked getting up with their help. "Eli walked passed to see you in a daze so he called me and here we are." I nodded. "Everything okay mom?" I nodded. "Fine let's go upstairs if we are going to talk." They nodded and headed up to the bar. I slipped a baggy hoodie on and headed upstairs. 

"Mom?" Ares asked as he and Dante were coming out of the office; I looked at them confused. "We double teamed the paperwork for dad." I nodded. "Something wrong?" I sighed. "Let's go to the bar since the other two are there." They both nodded. When we got up to the bar I just sat down and sighed again. "Mom what's wrong?" I looked at them. "So I haven't told anyone this. Only Eric and I know." They all looked at me confused. "So before when it was the three of us. At the time Eric and I got along with Damon well he didn't have his humanity." They all looked at me confused. "I got pregnant with a set of twins. One was Eric's and the other was Damon's. Eli was very young at this time..." "Wait..how young?" Eli interrupted. "About a year or more." He nodded. "Okay...so what happen?" At that time Eric and I had a lot of enemies...when I mean a lot I mean it's part of the reason that I am so closed off to people I don't know. You never know who will rat on you or not. Believe it or not Ares learned everything from me when it come to torture...anyway that was off topic. When I gave birth I gave the kids to a dear friend of mine and told her to raise them like her own." they all looked at me confused. "But they didn't make it." I sobbed. "They were killed along with my best friend." I whispered. "This pregnancy has been hard because this will be the first baby born after that incident."
