It's sprinkling lightly as I come up to Amy's house. This is it. I'm gonna do it officially. I actually should've done it a long time ago.
I lean against the fence as I wait for her to come, then I hear running down the steps.
"Hi P'karp," she opens the gate, "what brings you here so late?"
"Actually," I start rubbing the tip of my shoe in the ground. I'm a little nervous.
She reaches for my hands and I back away.
"I have something to tell you," I say, "I came here to break up with you."
"Oh," her smile is gone but I'm ready to tell her the truth.
"I actually like someone else," I continue, here goes nothing, "it was the wrong timing but I realized I really do like that person."
"Is it P'kun?" She says.
I nod.
"You know," she starts, "he's only going to hurt you."
"I think, I'm the one that's done the hurting," I smile feeling a little relieved, "thanks for understanding though."
I wave and leave her at the steps alone.
"Y-you can't do this!" She yells, "y-your gonna regret this!"
I continue to walk with only P'kun in my mind, I smile a little as her voice drowns in the background.

I can't believe it! I finally got up the courage to tell her. And now, I'm going to tell P'kun how I feel. If he'll let me.
I walk up to the dorm full of excitement and open the door quietly making sure that I don't wake P'kun up.
He's fast asleep looking so adorable, I can't wait to tell him soon. My phone rings loudly and I reach into my pocket to take it out quickly, almost dropping it.
"Yes?" I whisper.
"Hi honey, sorry to wake you," says my mom.
"No your fine I was already up," I say, "do you need something?"
"No not really just wanted to call and remind you that we'll be there in the afternoon, me and your father."she informs. Shit!
"Uh, ok I guess I'll tidy up the dorm," I reply.
"Ok see you there honey, goodnight." She whispers.
"Goodnight," I whisper back making sure not too wake up P'kun.
I crawl into bed taking one last look at him. Be prepared P'kun, it's my turn to chase you.

I wake up to bags crinkling and I rub my eyes to see the racket. Why the hell is there so much noise on a Saturday?
As I push myself upward I see P'kun curled up on his bed, bag of chips at his side and his phone balanced on his knees. He looks at me with a handful of noodles in his mouth.
"Did I wake you?" He says while chewing.
"N-no," I blush, how can he possibly look cute right now, "I was just waking up to clean before my parents get here."
He nods and puts another spoonful in his mouth. He looks at me wide eyed with his cheeks stuffed.
"Your parents are coming!" He mumbles.
I nod as he points to the mess around our room . Clothes piled in a corner, his snack bags on the floor by his bed, I have a couple clothes and the floor and on my bed. Shit! When did it get like this?
"Can you help me?" I push my luck , or not really pushing since most of the mess is his. Everyone would be surprised to see that this scary looking handsome big baby lived like this.
"Sure," he says taking in one more bite of noodles and setting it on the dresser.
We gather both our laundry together in a large pile, while music plays from our small speaker.
I bend down to pick up a snack wrapper, then I smile and shower them over P'kun.
"W-what?" He says to himself while looking around. Then he looks at me and smiles then showers me with my socks. I roll them up and throw them back at him and he does the same.

After a couple hours of messing around the room is finally scrubbed and cleaned. We plop together on the couch breathing out a sigh of relief.
"I had fun today," I say.
"What?" He looks at me.
"I had fun," I repeat.
"Oh," he's says.
There's a long awkward pause. Then he sits up to face me.
"Look, umm about Amy," he starts but a knock at the door interrupts him.
I rush to open it, leaving him alone on the couch.
As soon as I swing the door open my mom pushes past me carrying many bags. My dad looks at me as if he's apologetic and follows behind her.
"Ah son I thought you said you cleaned," she nags, "such a mess."
What the hell is she talking about it's literally spic and span.
She sets the bags on the coffee table and looks at P'kun.
"My, my, what a handsome roommate you have," she takes his hands, "I bet he brings you plenty of ladies."
Me and P'kun stare at each other in pure confusion.
"Uhh, mom, can you um not touch my roommate I don't want him to get scared and move out," I laugh.
She quickly let's go of him and brushes his shoulder off.
"Sorry about that honey, how about I give you a meal!" She opens the bags setting take-out on the coffee table.
"I'm fine I'm actually not hungry," he says.
"Nonsense just eat," she orders.
My dad pats my back.
"Well, well, son you've gotten strong," he smiles, "where's that girlfriend we've been waiting for?"
All eyes are on me, but I feel no pressure at all.
"Actually there is no girlfriend," I say.
P'kun looks at me in shock and confusion.
"Well that's alright I'm sure there's someone out there," says my dad.
I nod still looking at P'kun, he glances away and turns his attention towards the food.
"I bet your rude towards the girls," nags my mom.
"I guess I am," I laugh softly thinking about how inconsiderate I was of Amy's feelings.
"At this rate no one will love you ," she huffs.
"Oh mom," I promise, "if a certain someone can accept me, then that's all that matters."
"Well they better do it quick," says my dad, "I don't want my son single forever."
"Oh my, no more talking just come eat," my mom has the coffee table set up and we all sit uncomfortably on the couch. My shoulder is pushed against P'kuns but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

After cleaning up dinner my dad admires P'kuns posters and guitar, he reminisces about his time in a band during college. They talk on and on and it makes me glad, that P'kun is leaving a good impression on my parents.
"Why are you watching them so intently, it's not like your dads gonna embarrass you or something," my mom says slapping my shoulder lightly.
"You know mom," I start, "I just....think I'm starting to find who I am and who I want to be."
"That's good son, but may I ask?" She has a small smile and points at P'kun, "does it have anything to do with that boy?"
I gasp, "Mom! You know?"
She slaps my shoulder, "Of course I know! I've seen the way you guys look at each other when the other isn't looking."
"Do you have any thoughts?" I ask.
"It's not in my place to decide who you can or cannot love, I just want my son happy," she sighs dramatically , " I just need you two to start dating already!"
I laugh and look back at P'kun, " Don't worry mom I'm working on it."
"You better!" She says and walk over to dad, "Let's go, these kiddos need rest for school."
"Ah yes yes," Dad looks back to P'kun, "I'll be back with my drum set and we'll play together."
"I'll be waiting," P'kun laughs.
"What drum set?"my mom catches him in a lie.
"The one that I've been saving up for," he replies as he follows my mom.
"Like hell your bringing noisy drums into our house!" She nags walking out of the dorm.
"But honey," my dads words fade as he closes the door.
Me and P'kun stand there together in silence.
"Umm, about Amy," he starts, "why didn't you tell your parents you two are dating?"
I laugh a little which throws him off, "we're not together anymore."
"Why?"he is genuinely shocked.
"I felt I wasn't sincere to her ever since we started dating," I sigh, " I told her I like someone else."
"Oh," he says.
"I know it's gonna take awhile for you to like me back, considering what I did," I smile and look at him, "but I will work hard to win you back."
He has a shocked look on his face and I pat his back.
"Anyways, we should probably rest," I yawn, "good night."
I head to my bed and he stands there for a quick minute, taking in my words.
"Your not gonna stand there all night are you?" I laugh.
"Huh," he snaps out of thought, "um no, g-goodnight."
He jumps into bed pulling the covers over his face to hide his blushing. I laugh.
This is nice, things are finally gonna be okay.

"Yes there is an incident from 18 years ago, involves a car accident."

"Mother was the only casualty."

"Apparently he refused to speak to his son after after the incident, considering his son was the cause."
"Anything else,"
"Son went through therapy, he doesn't remember most with the events."
"Good, let's help him remember, he shouldn't be messing with other people's relationships."
"Yes mam."
"I'm suprised he didn't learn his lesson the last time."
"He had a friends help that night, and also Karps."
