I went to my room and went to my dresser. I put on a grey shirt and a dark brown jacket. I found some faded jeans and my hiking boots. After getting dressed, I ordered some room service from Hunding. Soon I found myself in the gardens of Valhalla. The hotel never ceases to amaze me. The gardens were large and covered with a grand archway, connecting to another at the top to form a dome. The sunlight filtered through the stained windows and casted beautiful colors onto the plants. I enjoyed the gardens more than anything else in the hotel. (Exept for maybe Alex's room.) I could feel the power of summer here. Even in the dead of winter in Boston, this place was still all warm and summery, as Alex would put it. I was sitting under a tree, reading the Hobbit, when I heard giggling from the door. I looked up to see most of floor 19 standing there. Halfborn was missing, but I assumed he was doing some crafts up in his room. Alex was smiling at me, which made me melt, and Mallory was frantically searching for a camera. TJ looked like he was trying not to laugh. I looked around, confused as to why I was the center of attention, and it was then that I noticed I was glowing. Bright golden light radiated from me, not too terribly bright, but a soft glow, and then I heard Mak taking a picture.

"What? What is it?" I asked confused, and standing up. I looked back to where I was and noted the plants had grown about an inch. Then I looked over to the gigging girls and TJ, still suppressing his laughter. Mallory handed me the camera. I looked at the display and saw a person I did not recognize there. It was me, but I looked confident. Almost regal. In my hair was a crown of leaves and twigs, my skin radiating a soft golden glow as I studied the book resting on my knee. (someone please draw this and send it to me!!!!)

I touched my head and felt the twigs. I went to pull them out and was stopped by Alex.

"Oh no summer boy. You are leaving that in. It makes you less hard to look at." She said. I put my hand down and smiled.

"I am the worst super hero ever. Summerboy, the human glowstick. I can grow plants and heal people. I have no other skills." I spread my hands. "Beware my talking sword, for it knows the weaknesses of mortals." My friends. being supportive and awesome people, dropped to the ground and started laughing. I smiled too and then I looked back at the tree and the leaves. I took a look at Alex. She looked so cute today. She was wearing a light pink button up under a green tinted black vest. She wore her dark green skinny jeans and her pink high tops. Nobody could pull off pink and green like Alex. Almost in a trance, I walked away and found some pink flowers. Concentrating on the happy and content feeling I had before, I reached my hand out, glowing softly again. The flowers formed into a pink and green tiara, woven together beautifully. I walked up to Alex and placed it on her head.

"If I have to wear one, so do you." I stated, stepping back and admiering my handywork. It compimented her outfit just as much as I had hoped. Her amber and brown eyes looked into mine for a second too long. I looked away, blushing as I rubbed the back of my head.

"Anyway, what did you guys want?" I asked, trying to avoid the looks they were giving me.

"Oh, Odin wanted to see us!" TJ said, his eyes sparkling. He seemed really exited, so I sighed and followed them to Odin's room. He was sitting in his chair, wearing his obsidian three piece suit, complimented by a chainmail vest. Blitzens buisness must have been booming.

"What a lovely crown Magnus. I used to have one  just like it!" He smiled at us, his ravens, Thought and Memory studied us with coal black eyes. I looked around the office nervously.

"Magnus, Alex, Mallory, and TJ. Where is Halfborn?" Odin asked. He looked at the others questioningly.

"He said he had to sharpen his axe. He will be here in a minute. What is it that you need, Lord Odin?" TJ said, fiddling with the buttons of his civil war uniform.

"Well, you are my best enherjar currently. Samarah is still on a mission from me. She will be back in a few days, but this is of upmost urgency. As you know, one of the signs of Ragnarok is the long winter. I have intelligence that Hel, the goddes of the dishonerable dead, is planning to use her power to start the long winter. You five must stop her before winter begins, in three weeks." Odin informed us.

"Oooh goody. Another world ending quest." I said. Why can't the gods just not try to destroy all life on the nine worlds? What do they gain? Nothing! "Fine. Let's go save the world. Any suggestions on how to get there?

"The meat locker should suffice." Odin said.

"Ok guys. Let's go get Halfborn." I sighed, leading them down to our hall.
