Reece tried his best not to panic. Breathing in, breathing out. Don't get too intimidated by the sudden screams of a person. A person that sounded so familiar. Like Miran...

"Hurry up, Human, your time is almost up", a dark evil voice whispered into Reece's ear and an arm was flung over his thin waist.

The male flinched away with a scared scream, almost dropping phone and cross in his hands before pointing the flash at Samael who hissed, backing away.

"Stay away! I didn't lose yet!", he screeched scared, waving his phone. The demon growled, his pitch black eyes burning through Reece's body, making him shiver.

"But you are going to, Human. You're weak and you're losing control and we both know it", Samael said with a smirk, suddenly standing in front of Reece.

"I can't wait to own such a pretty boy like you... Scott's getting quite boring these days. So... unresponsive", Samael purred but nothing cat like was on that smile.

"Back away! Fuck off!", Reece yelled but Samael continued to stare at him with these cold, black eyes.

"Once this little light of yours dies, you're my prey, Human. And we're going to have so much fun", Samael smirked, winking at Reece who fearfully checked his battery.

"No...", Reece whispered shocked, scared that as soon as the light died before he could succeed his mission. This would be his death. So he needed to hurry, taking Scott to this tree so he could get this freaking bone.

"I'm not going to lose", Reece grit out, turning away from Samael to move Scott. His hands were trembling when he stared down at his once best friend who was hanging from the strings, moving forward with wobbly eyes.

Reece's own hands were shaking, trembling so hard that he had his difficulties to hold the cross where the strings were attached to, in his hands.

"You know, you're really handsome", a voice whispered into his ear once again.

And Reece flinched away from the cold, somehow wet touch, looking with wide eyes at the smirking demon who stared out of pupil-less eyes at him. Reece screamed loudly in terror. And then, he did something that would change his life forever.

He dropped the cross to Scott's strings.

"Dumb human."

Samael laughed evilly, letting go of Reece, pulling back from the poor human in a dark string of black smoke.

"Now let me see how you're gonna fix this", Samael's demonic laugh was the last thing Reece heard.

"No no no no", Reece panicked, lighting up the floor to see where the cross was. But unfortunately for the poor human, it was gone. And when Reece looked down onto the forest ground, he saw a white 'X' laying right next to Scott's lifeless, sunken body on the ground.

"No", Reece said in horror, pulling on his hair. But with no use. He had to go down to get the cross again. And when Reece looked onto his phone again, he saw that the time was running against him.

"Fuck", Reece cursed before he grabbed his phone in between his teeth so he was still able to see before looking down. There were no stairs or anything that leaded up to this platform so he had to climb all the way down. And back up again.

And all of that before his battery died.

Reece was climbing down, heart pounding against his rib cage while he was grabbing onto his phone with one hand and used the other one for climbing. It was highly troubling for the male to manage this all. Holding his phone, climbing down, seeing and looking for another step he could use to get more down.

Reece didn't even look at his battery because he knew it was going lower and lower and he was running out of time. Try not to panic... the last thing you need is to panic... Think of Miran and Emmett and Will and everything is going to be okay...

Miran. Reece knew that it was Miran he heard screaming before. But he couldn't worry about that too. He first needed to save all of them and then he could search for his little, clumsy best friend.

Don't thinking about Miran. He's alright. As well as the others. Just step after step, Reece. Focus on that. Get the cross, go back to the platform and bring Scott to this fucking tree. Once he got the bone, it's over.

He could go home and take Miran with him, and Will and Emmett. They would all be free and would never return to this spooky, demonic forest.

Reece landed on the ground, falling and his phone fell out of his palm. A laugh near him made him shiver and he quickly turned to find the electronic device again.

"Humaaaan", someone sing-songed and Reece knew it was Samael.

15%. Battery is low. Please charge this device.

Reece finally found his phone again, clutching onto his practical life saver and holding it up.

"Please oh god", he crawled towards Scott, finding the cross and nearly cried. He was just about to get up and walk back to that tower when he felt a tug on the strings.

"No no no", Reece cried desperately, quickly running back to Scott to see what was the problem. When he saw it, he nearly collapsed. Because of the hard fall of Scott, the strings turned into tight knots.

"Seems bad Human", a voice giggled near Reece but when the male turned his phone, he saw nothing but the forest.

"Come on, try. You have not much time leeeeeeft."

"Please, Scott, oh my god, please c'mon. No", Reece whimpered, trying to untangle this mess of multiple knots. His fingers were shaking and he didn't know how to get Scott back into position and now he was really panicking.

"No no no no no! NO! I can't lose, Scott, oh god please! I have t-to... I have to save MiMi", Reece sobbed, his fingers fiddling with a tight knot. Finally untangling it and he cried out in relief. But this was only one knot finished. Out of eleven.

5%. Battery is extremely low. Charge device now.

"Human, you're running out of time..."

The desperate male tried to calm down his breathing, his hands were shaking too much and he was on the urge of having a panic attack. He couldn't lose. He couldn't. Miran, his best friend, this sweet, utterly adorable, pretty boy couldn't be the slave of such a... monster.

And with that, the light of Reece's phone turned off. Leaving Reece in the darkness of the forest. And nothing more scared him.

It was over. He lost. Samael won and now. Now he was going to be the slave of Samael. A-and Miran would be the slave of Caym...

"Time's up, Human. You're mine now, Reece Jones."

And with that, Reece blacked out.
