"I'm guessing I will see you tonight too, Savanna?", I heard Dani say as he clicked in my face making me jump.
"Huh? What? Where?", I said rubbing my eyes. God I have to stop daydreaming when people are talking to me.
He laughed. "We're you just sleeping or something? The party? Tonight? For Marqi's birthday?".
"Oh shit", I mumbled mentally cursing myself for being so unorganised with my events. "I forgot about that".
He frowned. "But you are coming though, right?".
I sighed running my hand through my hair. "I don't know, I'll see if I have the energy".
"The energy?", he laughed shaking his head as I frowned.
"Yes the energy, if you didn't notice Dani, which you should have since you have two functioning eyes and a half normal brain, I have been carrying a baby in me for the last six months and if you didn't know this already, it has sucked the living light out of me so whether you will see me at the party or not tonight will depend entirely on this little creature inside me wanting to treat me nice or not!". That was rude, jheez Savanna.
"Damn, chill", he suddenly said sitting down next to me. "Don't let pregnancy eat you up, don't let it take over your social life or you will find it hard to get back to normal after it all. And stop taking your problems out on other people, they might not be as understanding as me and you might just snap at the wrong person ".
I wanted to melt. How was he so kind. I just insulted him and he's just brushed it off. Gentleman. Where can I find myself a Dani. "I'm so sorry", I sighed resting my head on his shoulder. "These mood swings are driving me crazy".
"I noticed", he smirked as I scoffed and hit his arm as he laughed. "So is that a yes to tonight?".
I chuckled. "I'll try my best to be there, just for you".
