My little girl (Alexis x Baby! Reader)

It was the middle of the night, a shadow figure was running with an object but as the figure ran to the light, it was revealed to be a woman holding a small baby girl in her arms.

The woman looked in different directions with fear in her eyes as she makes a quick decision before running more. She ran as fast as she could while holding her baby tightly to get away from the person who's chasing them down.

'If you can hear me, please hear me and answer my prayer. I pray you be my eyes... watch her where she goes... give my daughter a place called 'home'... where she can be free and safe... guide someone to her, someone who would raise her as their own... and be the mother that I wish to be...'

~Meanwhile~

Alexis decided to go out for a walk. Minutes later, it was calmed at first until she heard a woman yelling and screaming but most of all, the sound of a gunshot. She immediately ran where the scream came but as she arrived, she was shocked and terrified of what she was seeing. She found a woman laying on the ground and a small baby next to her. 'Who would do such a thing like that?' Alexis thought as she carefully picked the baby up as she continued to cry.

"You poor thing..." Alexis careful rocks the baby as she speaks soothing words to the baby until she slowly calms down. "It's okay, little one. You're gonna be okay.. you won't be alone anymore..." She whispers as the baby opened her eyes and smiles at her.

Alexis smiled sweetly at her as she approaches to the mother's body and whispers, "Don't worry, I'll take care of her" Alexis got up as she took the baby with her without knowing the dying mother smiled weakly and whispered, "Thank you..."

~Meanwhile~

Alexis was thinking of a few names that will fit the baby well while the baby made cooing noises. "Let's see... Sarina... Minako... Hitomi... Megami... Y/n..." Alexis stooped at the last name as she heard giggles coming from the baby and smiled, "Y/n it is then" Alexis hold Y/n close to her chest as the baby began to snuggled at her.

~A year later~

It was Y/n's birthday, she was playing with her stuffed duel monsters that Alexis and the others gave her. By the way, Alexis inform the others about Y/n since the day she found her and they decided to help her out. Anyways, Y/n looked at Jaden, crawled to him and lift her tiny arms up which he happily picked her up. "Hi, little Y/n~" "Addy! Addy!" Everyone froze especially Alexis when they heard her say daddy. Alexis went to a bashful Jaden as he was saying, "She call me daddy"

Y/n smiled as she looked at the other direction and sees Alexis as she held her arms out to her, "Mommy!" Alexis happily grabbed Y/n and lift her up in the air as Y/n squeals happily, "Y/n! You said your first words!" Alexis exclaims. "And she thinks you're her daddy, Jaden!" "I'm not her daddy!" Exclaims Jaden until Y/n happily repeated, "Addy! 'Addy!" "Hey, I'm not your daddy, silly! It's Jaden!" Replies Jaden but Y/n kept repeating it, "Addy! 'Addy!" "No, it's Jaden!" Everyone laughed at this scene even Y/n laughed along.

~3 years later~

Y/n is now 4 years old as she was reading her favorite book that Alexis always reads to her when she goes to sleep. She read for a bit until she heard Alexis' voice. "Y/n! I'm home!" "Mommy!" Y/n happily ran to the front door as she hugs Alexis. "I miss you, mommy!" "And I missed you as well, my little dumpling!" Replied Alexis as she kisses her in the head before poking Y/n's nose. "Mommy, I drew you a picture. Wanna see it?" "Sure, sweetie" Y/n happily went to get her drawing as she shows it to Alexis.

"Look, mommy!" "Aww! Y/n, it's beautiful." Alexis smiled as Y/n smiled back, "I drew it for you. That's me, you and daddy!" "Daddy? Who's daddy?" Alexis asked. "Jaden! Jaden is daddy!" Replied Y/n which made Alexis blush, "Oh Y/n, you know Jaden isn't your daddy... yet" "He will be my new daddy!" Exclaimed Y/n, "He will?" "Yes, he will!" Alexis giggles as she carries Y/n in her arms.

"And I believe it's time for you to go to bed" "Okay" Alexis takes Y/n to her room as she changes her clothes to her pajamas before placing her on the bed. "Mommy?" "Yes, sweetheart?" Y/n looks at Alexis with a smile as she watches her lay next to her, "Can you sing the lullaby that you sang when I was a baby?" "Of course, sweetie"

Alexis started to sing the lullaby as Y/n slowly closes her eyes and falls asleep while Alexis continued to sing for her. As Y/n slept, she was dreaming of having daddy in their family as she smiled happily in her sleep. Once Alexis finished singing, she placed a kiss on Y/n's forehead, "I love you, my little girl" She whispers as she falls asleep while holding Y/n in her arms. She loves Y/n so much with all her heart and Y/n loves her back... after all, she is her little girl.
