SUCKED INTO SOULEATER

THE FLASHDRIVE

I was walking down the streets of New York City, the people who accompanied me were my two best friends, KC and Kait. Our Mummies had taken our technology away and made us go outside. So, we were just walking down the streets of New York City enjoying some fresh air.

As we were walking I decided to break the silence,"So, what are we going to do?" I asked.

"No clue." KC and Kait said at the same time.

Now Kait had turned around and started walking backwards infront of us. "Let's play a game." she said.

"What on Earth are we able to play in the streets of New York." KC replied.

Suddenly, Kait jumped towards KC and tapped her on the shoulder "Your it!" she shouted. Then Kait began to run away from us as fast as she could. 'Kait is very competitive when it comes to this stuff' I thought. I looked over at KC who did not seem to move either. Then Kait started walking back towards us, "Aw you guys are party poopers." she said dissappointed.

"Sorry Kait," spoke KC "But I dont think we need to be playing tag, I'm too cool for that anyways" then KC looked over at me knowing that I would agree. Because of course me and KC were too cool for that anyways. So, like always I nodded.

"Whatever Kait said. Then Kait started to whistle a tune while looking at the big, tall buildings around us. Before me and KC knew what was happening, Kait turned left and started running down an alley.

"What do you think your doing, Kait!" I yelled as I started running after her. Although, I knew that Kait would obviously be doing something crazy. When I reached her I was amazed I had never seen her do something like this before. She was digging through the dumpster!

"I saw something really shiny." she replied with a cheerful smile. I rolled my eyes at her, she was crazy.

"Wow Kait, you have the wierdest mind in the world." I said with my arms crossed. Kait looked back up at me nodded her head and then went back to digging through the garbage.

Kait had now turned around and was holding a small shiny object. "here" Kait said as she tossed it over to KC who had just walked up behind me. I noticed that KC had the same amazed expression I did.

"Its a flashdrive" she said curiously."Why'd you go through all that trouble for a flashdrive," then she paused and said "We dont even know what it is."

"Me niether!" Kait said excitedly. "Wanna go find out?"

"Well, what if it was someones diary or something, cool girls dont go searching through other people diaries." KC said cooly.

"Oh please," Kait spoke "Why would someone just throw away something full of secrets, besides I'm sure its just a useless school project or something."

Before we knew it Kait had happily skipped past us and out of the alley."Come on slow pokes" she shouted."I'm gonna plug this into my computer."

Me and KC started slowly walking out of the alley. Kait stood where she was, waiting for us to catch up, and then we started to walk back to her apartment. I could tell that Kait was overjoyed with excitement to see what was on the flashdrive.

Kait then flashed us a smile and took off running ahead of us. "Come on she shouted!" as she dissapeared around the corner.
