Arc 2, Chapter 9: Forest of Owls

After they found an alchemist who fixed the damage to hull and turret, they all did their own thing. Walking, buying stuff, or just sitting around, the town was doing their best to return to normal. Later that day, the emergency response team led by First Prince Vincent arrived to give aid. While looking around, he spotted the Jäger and the Moskva and walked towards them, getting the attention of Finn who was refilling the MG drums.

Vincent: Greetings, long time no see friend.

Finn: What took you so long?

Vincent: My dearest apologies, we were occupied investing what happened to Lakis.

Finn: We were there a couple days ago, we were almost eaten.

Vincent: Eaten?

Finn: Yeah, something was wrong with the people because they tried taking a chunk out of our friend.

Vincent: Lakis was destroyed when we got there.

Finn was confused.

Finn: It was destroyed? How?

Vincent: That's what we were trying to figure out before we received word that this town was being attacked, the whole place was burned to the ground. Also I assume you entered combat with these barbaric people, and it also seems they were a problem.

Vincent said as he looked behind Finn at the damage on the Jäger.

Finn: Yeah, one could say that.

Vincent: Also where's your comrades?

Finn: They're over there.

Finn pointed at the group that had purchased a few more items such as dried goods.

Vincent: Oh there they are, hmm? I don't think I've met the girl and the knight.

Finn: Yeah we picked them up at some point.

Lucas: Hey look, it's the Prince.

Luna: Prince?!

Vincent: Pleasure to meet you.

As he said this, he kneeled on the ground gave her a kiss on her hand. This caused Luna to blush a bit clearly showing she was not used to it, on the other hand this action cause for Finn and Arran to lift an eyebrow, Ga1ahad's poker face almost faltered, Peter was surprised and Lucas seemed like he was about to do something.

Lucas: what are you doing?!

Vincent: it's a pleasantry, but I guess something like that is foreign to some one uncivilised like you.

Lucas: Im uncivilised? Ill show you uncivilised.

Lucas pulled up his sleeves angrily and dashed at Vincent trying to tackle him, but Vincent simply side stepped to the left and used Lucas' momentum to have him trip on his foot. Lucas stumbled and landed on his face into a puddle of mud.

Vincent: Well Ive gotta say, that IS pretty uncivilized.

Lucas stood up and wiped off some of the mud off his face angrily.
