"We don't match. We have nothing in common. I can't keep up with you and I can't slow you down for me" I say and she watches us intensely and smiles.
"You didn't say anything to what I said," I say.
"Time has the answer for everything. Let's see wha...
"Can I join you?" Asked Adil standing at the doorway of my balcony. "Will you leave if I say no" I ask. "No. I'll still join you" he says stepping out in the balcony. "Fine" I say and he tries to sit next to me and I say "not next to me" "You don't love me like I love you" he says and sits beside me on the other chair. "I love you but from a distance. I don't like people touching me" I say.
We sit in silence in my balcony looking up in the sky. The sky was filled with stars and I felt the most relaxed.

Untill ofcourse Adil decided to speak. "Bhai, do you hear that?" He asks. "No" I say. "Exactly. Nothing. You have no idea how chaotic our house is. I mean there are too many people in our family. No one should have that many kids bro. One pair should be allowed only one child." says Adil. I look at him and say "says the 7th child of the family" He creased his eyebrows and looks up in the sky. Now, Adil is capable of not talking for only 30 seconds. So, I start counting.
3,2,1 go. "So bhai" says Adil. See. "Tell a sweet shayari on the stars tonight" Since I came to the balcony tonight and been seeing the sky. I have been thinking of only one thing.
"Hazaron taare Aasman mein jhilmilaate huwey hamne har raat dekhey hai.. Magar Asli sitaare ki chamak Aaj pehle Baar humney aap ki aankhon mein Dekha hai. (Thousands of stars are staring at us in the sky every night. The shine of a real star is the first time what I see in your eyes tonight.)" I say thinking of the beautiful grey eyes I saw tonight.
It's been more than 60 seconds and I don't hear Adil say anything. Did he leave? I look beside me and see him smiling at me. "What?" I ask. "Nothing" and he smirks and continues "Bhai, don't you wish you had a picture of the person you were thinking of? Oh wait, you can see the person". "How?" I ask impatiently and he smiles. "I mean, who would you want to see" I cover-up. "You know what I do when I see a girl I like?" He says and sits on my chair. "You could tell me that from your place," I say. Seriously, what's with people touching. "Bhai, concentrate. So, I stalk that girl on social media" he says. "That's horrible. You shouldn't do that" I say. "Bhai. That's how you know about her. How many boyfriends she has, what kind of clothes she wears, what are her hobbies, likes, dislikes. Everything" says Adil. "They share that with strangers?" I ask. "Some do and some keep it private. They have to accept you to see their pics" he says. "I don't have anyone to talk," I say. "Fine. But if you want to talk. Try Instagram" he says and stands up and stretches and says "I am off to bed. Good night" "You are going home?" I ask. "I don't have a room to go home to. My room is been raided with so many uncles." He says and walks to the guestroom.
I wait for some time and take my phone out and install Instagram. I open an account and struggle to put a picture. What picture should I put? "Put the one from your gym," says Adil from behind me. Didn't he go to sleep? "Seriously?" I ask. "What? I was hungry." He says and has a big bag of chips in his hand and two diet cokes. "We had chips?" I ask. "I stock your pantry for when I am here," he says. "Do you live here with me?" I ask. "Kind off," he says with the mouth full of chips. "That explains my clothes misplaced," I say. "Chicks dig when I wear your clothes." Says Adil eating like an animal and with still chewing on his chips he says "so, did you decide on the pic?" "No," I say.
