I was smiling. Smiling the whole day.
The change in events of the day was something truly amazing.

After our long two hours of lunch, we paid for our meals. Yes, she insisted we pay for our own meals.
"I don't like anyone paying for me. And you can pay for your food so pay up." She said and I agreed. I respected people who were self depend and not play the gender card.
After lunch, I insisted I drop her home but she said "who is going home so soon? Dude my day has just started and I am very busy today. First, I have to go shopping for my cousin's wedding with her. I love shopping by the way. And then have an appointment with my friends to waste the day in the mall. And oh don't even get me started on the grand plan I have to work on how I can lie to my dad and get away for a night out with friends this weekend. Long day dude. Long day" she says exhausted.
"So what do you do exactly?" I ask.
"I am a very busy person. I am the owner of my food trucks which makes some dope profit. I have few friends who help and we sell fast food in the night from 6 to 10 pm. We have three food trucks like that. I am usually near bridge road. My food is really good. You should visit me sometime. I didn't like to study so I dropped out and started my food trucks. Dad, of course, invested in the business and its non-profit work. You see all the profits go as school fees to kids who want to study. We pay their school fees from the profit we make" she says and I smile.
"What about you? So you don't carry your own personal expenses?" I ask.

"Where are you from? Don't you know the rules? I am a girl and I should be taken cared of. First by my dad and then by the husband." She says.
"That's not right. Girl or boy everyone should be self dependent" I say.
"Yeah, you see I am lazy. I have a rich father and in future, I'll marry a guy who can take care of me. I can adjust to what I have so I am good. If he is rich then it's okay but if he is not then it's okay too. We can work together. But I really pray I get a rich husband cause I don't really want to work. I do that food truck thing cause I don't have anything else to do and I get to stay out late. And of course for those kids. I can look good for him and cook for him too. And let's not forget love him" she says honestly.

I look at her and say "hope you get what you want?"
She smiles at me and says "you too. Okay bye"
I didn't realise we walked to the parking lot and she was removing her scooty from the parking. She wears her helmet and climb on her scooty and is ready to leave.
"Like my scooty?" She asks.

"Like my scooty?" She asks

"It's red," I say.
"Yep. I love red" she says and starts her scooty.
"I will be live on insta at 7. If free check it out. Allah hafiz" she says and I say Allah hafiz and she leaves.

I went back to my office and my peaceful office felt boring.
I didn't know what to do so I called Rajdev and told him to get me some work. He smiles and already had a few things I had to go through and sign.
"I knew you would be back," he says.
"You know me too well," I say and he says "I do boss" and winks at me and leaves.
He is such a good man.

In the evening I was ready to leave the office when dad calls me to come home.
I didn't want to but went home.
I go inside and see everyone in a very celebrating mood.
"Omar" calls my dad and everyone turn to look at me.
I greet everyone and walk in the house.
"Chachu" screams Zoya and runs to me.
I pick her up and she hugs me and says "chachu look my mehndi is still there in my hands"
"And it looks beautiful," I say and kiss her hands.
She is the heart of our house.
