A Flight to Remember (Halloween Special)

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just landed in Zamboanga International Airport. Philippine Airlines welcomes you to Zamboanga."

Nettie immediately take out her cellphone from her carry-on bag upon hearing the statement of their arrival. Its her first time in the city and she feels so excited that she wanted to capture every single moment she'll have from the plane down to her first step on land. Laugh at her but she's just that sentimental. She wanted to make sure that she'll get a bounty pictures on her hand at the end of the day.

Too bad, she thinks. She has been wishing for a DSLR but she can't afford it yet at her average salary. She'd been torn between having the trip and keeping the money so she could buy the expensive camera. But it's no way she has to wait for five more months for the travel promo. The moment she learned of the advertisement of PAL, she took a three day leave and grabbed the chance to relax.

Little does she knows that the trip would be something she will surely never forget.

Part 1 Guy in the Picture

She looked around and watched as other passengers remove their things out of the baggage bin. She was wise enough to bring less so she won't have to burden herself from carrying her loads. To her, less baggage means less worry. Meaning, she could still have an ample time to take more pictures of herself before she went off of the plane-- a picture addict, indeed.

She was grinning from ear to ear with her fingers on a V-sign as she took shots on her phone using her other hand. After several shots, she decided that she had enough. Then she viewed those pictures.

"Oh!" she whispered in embarrassment while covering her mouth upon seeing that she was not alone in the captured photos. A man was standing too close behind her and was as if he should really be included in the shot taken. She scrolled down to the other photos and noticed they're all the same. But what captured her attention was the one where in he was staring at her intently as if he knew her.

Nettie smiled to herself and did a mental flipping of her hair. No way you could blame her in acting a little crazy. Well, she had just found out a good looking man paying her an attention and she felt like her hair just grown extra-long.

At first, Nettie thought that he was one of the flight attendants but then she immediately brushed off the idea when she realized that attendants are wearing their uniforms. And based on his features, she could say that he was not a Filipino.

The man wears a natural light brown hair emphasizing his "mestizo" look. His eyebrows were not so thick in contrast with his long lashes. And oh! Nettie loves those eyes which were slightly covered with some strands of hair brushing on his forehead. They were gray, reminding him of the eyes of a Hollywood actor she has a crush on. He even got a well sculpted nose and thin lips on his square jaw face.

"Perfect!", she told herself "Undeniably, perfect." she whispered while grinning. She braced herself and turned around to see the owner of mysterious gray eyes but she saw nothing. She looked around to find him but he's gone and noticed that there were only few passengers left inside the plane. She shook her head with slight regret thinking that he had just went off of the plane. Then, she looked back at the pictures only to be stunned.

"Weird." she muttered after seeing that she was now alone. "How come?" she continued with her mouth left open. Was she just imagining things?
