When Michael, his older twin Devin, and his younger cousin (only by one minute) Lucas, get sent to live with their uncle in the plain...
I'm excited to write this story, so I hope you're excited to read it.
Michael was leaning against the door of his father's car, watching the afternoon sky as they drove to Saint Oak. Devin was on his phone and Lucas was asleep, leaning against Michael. When they came to a stop light and had to stop, Michael saw something that made him tense.
He saw, sitting in a tree, a boy with dark blue hair, black feathery wings and a black halo, glowing dimly in the low light outside. He locked eyes with the young male before blinking, only to find that the figure had disappeared. He blinked a few times, wondering if that was just his imagination. He felt something shift against his side, realizing Lucas must have felt him tense.
He relaxed into a slightly more comfortable position, causing Lucas to let out a sigh in his sleep before relaxing once again. He looked over and saw that Devin was starting to fall asleep. Michael decided to join his brother and cousin, knowing it would be another hour or so until the get to the house. He closed his eyes and felt himself drifting into the warm embrace of sleep, his last thought being of the figure he had seen.

Michael let out a soft groan as his father was waking him and Devin up. He tried to wake Lucas up, but the young male just made a noise of protest before burying his head in Michael's shoulder.
Michael sighs as Devin pulls out a chocolate bar. He shakes Lucas, before giving him the chocolate bar in order to help him wake up a bit. Lucas took a few bites of the chocolate bar before giving Devin a grateful smile, instantly going back to eating the chocolate.
When he finished, they all turned towards Sam, who told them why he was waking them up.
''We're here boys.'' They turned to look out the window, and saw that they were at their uncle Henry's farm.
The group of four quickly got out of the car, and heard a dog barking. They turned and saw that Henry's dog, Sheba was running up to them (more specifically, Lucas).

The dog bounded up to them, seeming to be extremely excited to see them. Lucas was probably just as excited, and immediately began to pet Sheba.
''Hey there girl!'' Sheba jumped up a bit to give Lucas dog kisses on his face.
''Come on Lucas, you can play with her later. But right now we need to get your stuff in the house.'' Lucas nodded at his uncle's words before grabbing his stuff from the trunk of the car.
They group had grabbed their stuff and began to make their way to the house, unaware that they were being watched. Sheba seemed to have sensed something, and sent a glare in the direction of where it was coming from, looking right at the creature that was watching the boys. She immediately ran to catch up with them, not wanting to leave them alone, once the figure that was watching them left.
