The five of them were now back at Tristan's and the boys had been practicing for about half an hour now. Zoe loved watching them perform as she knew its what they loved doing, she just wished she had the confidence to do it herself.
“Hey Zo”, Brad came over and sat next to Zoe snapping her out of her daydream. “are you sure you dont want to do a cover with us, we can try it first without recording it if that would make you more comfortable?” Brad looked at Zoe with a hopeful look in his eyes, making it hard for her to say no.
“ I'll try it first without recording okay.” Brads face instantly lit up as he stood up and went and told the boys Zoe would do a cover with them. He loved hearing Zoe sing.
She didn't really do it a lot because she had no self confidence about her voice but the boys had heard her singing to herself and they thought she was amazing.
“Come on then Zo Zo.” Tristan pulled Zoe up from her seat in front of the boys set up. “We were going to do Wild Heart is that okay?” Tristan asked whilst taking place behind his drums.
“Sure, I've heard you guys do it enough times to know the words.” Zoe laughed nervously. Even though she knew the boys had heard her sing plenty of times before she still got nervous singing around them.
“You'll be fine Zo.” Yet again Brad took Zoe out of her daydream, giving her a reassuring smile as he took his place behind his microphone which was next to one which had recently been set up for Zoe.
As Zoe took place next to Brad behind her microphone the nerves were growing inside her at an insane speed.
“1...2...3...4” As Zoe heard Brad counting the boys in she thought there was no harm in just trying to sing with the boys right? Her theory was after she'd done a cover with them, they'd stop pestering her to sing with them.
Brad sang the first verse on his own and Zoe joined in on the chorus, their voices sounded so good together, the harmonies were perfect. It was now Zoe's turn to sing the second verse on her own and to put it bluntly, she was shitting herself. Before she even had time to consider not singing, it was time for her to start her verse and without even realizing it, the words came out her mouth. Zoe was having second thoughts about her singing and started questioning why she doubted herself so much. She knew she could do it.
Once they had finished the boys asked Zoe if she was okay doing it again for them to put on their YouTube channel and she agreed. If she wanted to get anywhere with her singing she needed to have the confidence to put a video on YouTube.
The boys had uploaded their new cover onto YouTube about half an hour ago and posted the link onto the bands twitter, tagging Zoe in it. Instantly she had tweets asking her how she knew the boys and if she was dating any of them. She had no idea they had so many fans already.
The boys had only recently put their first cover up on YouTube which was a cover of Connor Maynard's Vegas Girl, and the response the boys got from that, they thought was incredible.
Considering it was a Saturday night, they had all decided they'd stay round Tristan's and have one of their traditional movie marathons, complete with 5 tubs of Ben & Jerry's to get them through the hours. They'd chosen to watch the Harry Potter films (Connors choice), because according to Connor it had been 'too long' since they'd watched them.
Tristan had bought all the duvets downstairs, giving one to James who was on the Chair, one to Zoe and Brad who were on one of the sofas snuggled up due to the cold, and Tris kept one for him and Connor on the other Sofa.
Half way through the third movie it must have been about 12:30 and Zoe had found herself laying on Brad with his arm around her. Considering he had woken her up at 8am she found herself trying hard to stay awake but it seemed almost impossible as her eyes shut heavily, leading her into a deep sleep.
The boys however, were still wide awake and willing to watch the rest of the sequel until they too, fell asleep through exhaustion.
