Chapter 6

"So Taishi, what's your favorite food?" I ask to start a conversation.

"I love Manju, it's so sweet and delicious! What about you?" He said with metaphorical stars in his eyes.

"If I had one it would be Sakuramochi, but to be honest I love everything!" I joked.

"That's great to know.." he muttered with a tiny chuckle,
"So I know that you know Tamaki, but how did you 2 meet in the first place?" He asked while our drinks arrived.

We both got our drinks and pointed to what we wanted to eat then retired out attention back to each other.

"Okay, so how I met Tamaki? Well I was friends with a teen named Mirio, and he introduced us. He wanted us to date, but I only see Tama as a little brother." I said, before I took a sip of my drink.

"Would you have dated Tamaki under different circumstances?" Gum asked while acting uninterested.

"Honestly... no. He's not really my type of man." I say with a shrug.

"Then what's your type of man?" He asked while taking a drink of his liquid.

"Oh well, I have a thing for nice, cute, foodies, who are funny and can cheer me up." I say, casually pointing out everything I like about him.

I saw his eyes widen a bit and his cheeks looked a bit pink.

"Are there any things that you don't like in a man..?" Tai asked with hesitation.

"Well I don't like overly feminine guys, and fearless men worry me, but no matter their weight I won't dislike them. I guess that weight is one of the things I'm always fine with." I say, not really wanting to say what I don't like.

When I had said this, his confidence boosted.

I was about to ask him some thing when our waiter came back.

"What would you both like to order?" The man asked while eyeing both of us.

"Can I get the pound burger with a 1 pound steak, and can I add fries as a side?" I ask casually, noticing the surprise on the waiters face.

"Are you...sure?" He asked before he wrote anything.

"Yep!"

The waiter wrote down everything then he looked back to me,
"How would you like your steak? Are you sure you can eat all of this? Nobody besides Fatgum has eaten both of our largest items." The man said, bewildered.

"Medium rare." I said as I ignored his dumbfounded eyes.

"Alrighty then, what would you like, Fatgum?" The waiter asked while he looked to my chubby date.

"Order me the same thing." Gum said with a laugh.

As soon as the waiter left again I looked back to Shiro.

"Okay, you know how I met Tamaki, so why don't I find out how you met him?" I asked with a smile.

"Well I seen him in action one day, but I kinda forgot when and where... when I saw him I decided that he would make a great side kick! I asked if he wanted to help me and he agreed." He said grinning.

"Hey Taishi?" I spoke while still smiling,
"You are the nicest man I have ever met."

He looked stunned for a second, then his face grew a enormous smile.

"Aww, you are the cutest and the nicest woman I've ever met!" He said with a large, closed eye, smile.

God... he is too cute for this world..

Then I noticed the waiter standing a foot or 2 away form our table.
"I have your dinners, Bon appétit!" The waiter dramatically said as he moved our dinner onto the table.

After he left, I dug in. Savoring each bite of food but not savagely eating like a starved dog.
We both certainly looked like we were enjoying the our meals.

By the time I had finished my steak and had halfway eaten my steak, he was already finished with everything but the fries.

"You, are perfect. Seeing you like this, you look beautiful." He said in a fond tone.

I felt my cheeks warm as blood rushed into my face as I ate another chunk of my steak.

When I swallowed I couldn't help but to smile in affection for him.

"Taishi, you are both attractive and cute, I can't help but smile when I look into the face of my chubby hero. You sir, are perfect." I say while looking deeply into his eyes.

It was his turn to go red as my compliment set in.

"T-thanks! Nobody has ever really said I was cute or attractive before. Especially not perfect!" He joked out with a adoring tone.
"I really do think you look and looked beautiful when you were eating though... your eyes literally lit up when you ate some of it!"

I laughed at his joke before I ate the last bit of fries,
god this man has already made me fully attracted to him, I've only known him for a short while and already I feel like I want to constantly love and embrace him.

"My pro hero Toyomitsu, are you going to finish your fries?" I ask as I held out his plate.

"Want to share them?" He asked with a shrug and a tilt of the head.

Smiling, I nod my head rapidly.
I pulled him into his seat and sat down myself, gaining a amused laugh from Toyomitsu.

"Hahaha! And you call me cute!" He laughed out as I took a fry-fry.

Composing myself, I couldn't help but to smile at his amusement.
I ate a fry myself then I picked up one more, I brought the French fry I held to his mouth and fed him the food with a quiet laugh.
His flustered look was adorable but seeing him eat while embarrassed was even cuter.

Soon the plate of potatoes was empty, and we had to pay and leave.

"Gum, I'll pay my half. I ordered a lot so it's only fair." I said as I handed my card to the receptionist.

"What kind of a man would I be if I forced you to pay?! I'll pay because I chose to take you here." He spoke as he handed the woman his card.

"Toyomitsu, I offered to pay so you're not forcing me to. Also it's only right for me to pay for something that I ate, so I have to pay something. If you pay alone, this expensive meal is going to hurt your wallet!" I say trying to convince him.

"Y/n I have plenty of money to spend, so a night out with you is worth it.." he softly spoke, as he payed for dinner.

"You know... the night isn't over yet." I point out as we exit the restaurant,
"I know the perfect donut shop around here, they have the best selection and it is super good! So why don't we have some dessert to finish off the night?"

"Ha ha! Now that is a perfect idea! Let's go!" He cheerfully shouted as he scooped me up into his arms.
