Chapter four

when i came home i took out my laptop and typed some more of my article i was doing. while i was typing i was thinking about the hookups i had and how Sam was the only person i havent hooked up with. the next day at work i noticed some flowers and a box of chocolates on my work space desk. "Sean im flattered by the flowers and chocolate but you know i dont like you" i said. "give me a chance" he said. "look your not my type" "we can be friends and maybe even close friends but not friends with benefits or boyfriend and girlfriend" i said. "come on i really went all out for our date" he said. "what date" i said. "i was gonna ask you out on a date and take you to this nice restaurant" he said. abigail came in and said "sean do we really have to go through this again Megan said she doesnt like you so back off". "okay ill go back to my work space and get back to work" he said. "that guy just will not catch a break i mean hes a nice guy but Sean and i" "thats not who want to live with for the rest of my life" i said. "yeah but at the same time you dont have the best track record with dating" she said. "what do you mean by that" i said. "well for starters your first love was timothy vanderbilt and ya'll were only in elementary school"she said. "yes i get it me and him were only kids but i did date his best friend Lucas in high school" i said. "but you told me he moved and you never dated for along time and then there was George" she said. "yes i understand but Sean is stereotypical guy who has a crush on a girl but always gets rejected" i said. "and George is your so called friend with benefits" she said. "i wish that me and him were actually dating and just hooking up because i loved him" i said. "but you didnt know if he liked you back" she said. "pretty much and thats how i found out he was ooking up with another girl and i lost all my trust in him" i said. "but if you were with me i would make sure all my trust is in you" Sean said walking by work space. "Sean i think your a great guy and all but i have dating problems and i dont know what to do at this point" i said. "i can help you ive been called the dating guru" he said. "what do you know about dating" abigail said. "guys try to use a smooth pickup line to get a girls attention and it almost never works" he said. "ah but guys also buy flowers and chocolate to do nice gesture and give girls a compliment" she said. "she's got a point and prime example would be today you buying me flowers and chocolate" i said. "i know i shouldnt have but your pretty, nice, and fun to be around and i really want you to at least hangout with me" he said. "fine ill hangout with you but just to clarify its not a date just a hangout" i said. "yes" he said whispering. "and under one condition you cant ask me anymore" i said. "okay" he said. "for our hangout" i said boldly "we are going to watch a movie at your place" i said. after work i went to Sean's house and put some popcorn on for the movie. "Winston" sean said "come here boy". "what a nice dog you got" i said. "i found him hiding behind the dog shelter and took him in" he said. "what movie are we gonna watch" i said. "love drugs and violence" he said. "its that rated R" i said. "you sure betcha" he said. " you never sparked me as the rated R type of guy" i said. "theres a lot you dont know about me like my dad left me , my mom, and siblings when i was little so my mom remarried" he said. "i never knew that im so sorry about your bad childhood" i said. "its fine my dad didnt want to be with me when i was young so why even try and reach him" he said. as the movie began i noticed Sean's hand moving towards mine. i held his hand and looked into my eyes and i looked into his. i almost kissed Sean but my phone went off. "sorry i should take this" i said. "no go ahead" he said. "hows your little hangout with sean" abigail said through the phone. "its fine but we almost touched lips and i mean i was gonna kiss him" i said. "so your saying i saved you from kissing Sean" she said. "basically" i said."have you heard from or seen sam yet" she asked. "no but i will be attending the 5k" i said.  after i was done talking to abigail i left Sean's house went for a walk . when my head was down i bumped into a man and i realized it was Sam. "sorry i should i have been pay attention to where i was looking" i said. "Megan its no problem and ive been meaning to chat with you but i havent got your number" Sam said. "how about we grab some burgers i know  a great burger place down the street fro here" i said. "sure i could use some food right now" he said. "so are you coming to the 5k run" he asked. "yes im coming and so is abigail and her husband" i said. "ill be sure to win the race in your honor" he said. "oh really then ill make sure the 5k race story gets the front cover of the  newspaper" i said. "gus's burger place has the best burgers" i said. "well let me try one and see how it taste" he said. "hey tony this is my friend Sam and he wants a double burger with everything except mustard and pickles and for me the usual" i said. "coming right up sis" he said. "you and Tony are brother and sister" he said. "yes and he gives me free food here" i said. a moment later our food came out and Sam began taking his first bite of the burger. "this is such a  good burger" he said. "see i told ya you'd like it" i said."thanks bro i owe you one" i said. "no prob and being my wife's bridesmaid is good enough" my brother said. "hey um i was wandering if you want to come to my place" he asked. "i'd love too" i said. "my car is around the corner" he said. he drove us to his house and we were sitting on his couch finishing our food. "hey you got some ketchup on your cheek" sam said staring at my face. "thanks for getting it off" i said "sometimes im a little messy but i always cleanup my mess". "hey i see more ketchup on your cheek let me remove it with a kiss on the cheek" he said. he kissed me on the cheek and i kissed him back. we put our food down and started making out on his couch and we took our clothes off and went into his bedroom. after we had sex i was saying how Sam wasnt bad. "you werent that bad" i said. "oh so someones done better than me"  he said. "who is he and where can i find him" he added. "his name is George Timpleton and i dont where he is because i dont talk to him anymore" i said. "why what happened" he asked. "i caught him cheating on me with a girl he was talking to behind my back" i said. "were you two dating" he also asked. "no we were friends with benefits" i said. he turned to his side and i turned to mine and he gave me a kiss. "hey make sure you cheer me o in three days" he said. "oh you know i will"i said. getting out of his bed. he got out of his bed and gave me another kiss. "i should get going typing for a newspaper is very time consuming and it has a deadline coming up" i said putting my clothes on. "i should probably come  up with a game plan stratgey for the 5k run" he said.  "hey i need a ride to my coworkers house" i said. "sure " he said. i came back to Sean's house to get my car and went home. when i came in i flopped onto my couch and took a nap.
