there was no sufficiently cool sun symbol for the title to represent morning or afternoon.

also, i wanted to rewrite this. it feels like i tried too hard to write coolly, and it made some phrases sound awkward due to my failed attempts to sound extra epic. but, hey. i got complimented on this story by someone i look up to, so maybe there's a charm in that.
