Hi guys,
Okay, since this story is a bit on the "what the fuck is this shit?" side of Wattpad, let's just say that my 14 year old self thought this was a really unique and brilliant idea for a story. Unique yes, but brilliant no, just really weird.
I'm thrilled that you want to read whatever my 14 year old brain thought was a great story & to be completely honest, I have no idea why the story is the way it is. I can't really recall why I decided it would be a good idea for Emi to be...what she is for half the story, but it's on the Internet now and there's no point trying to hide this mistake. So let's enjoy this weird AF story and not judge me now for the mistakes I made when I was 14 ☺️
Thanks for all your constant support & enjoy the story

Character description
Name- Emi Funaki
Age-22
Appearance- Natural white hair with black streaks and tips. Dark black eyes.
2nd form- you'll have to wait until the end of this chapter hehehe...
Personality- Emi is a loyal, caring and trusting girl. She didn't have the best start to life but it never stopped her positive attitude or determination. She'd lay down her life at any second to protect her loved ones and the others who she cares about. She's a good fighter but her only bad quality is that she pushes herself too hard.

---1---
I walked towards the bright light. I'd had a good shot, even though my life hadn't lasted as long as I'd have liked it to. It would've been nice to meet the man of my dreams, settle down have a family, get a good job. No, as far as I was concerned, my life was only just beginning! But it had all happened so fast. Me and the girls, a fun night out, those scary guys that followed us, I told the girls to run, the fight, the knives and guns...
I shook off the thoughts and glanced down. I wasn't wearing the cool skinny jeans and t-shirt I'd gone out in, just a pair of tracksuits, my high-tops and a hoodie with a hole from where knife had pierced my skin, the wound from where the bullet punched a hole through my once perfect skin. I didn't feel it anymore, I was dead, there's nothing to feel.
I continued walking before I found myself crouching down. Funny, I don't remember bending down or anything. The next thing I knew I was on my hands and knees. I crawled forward, stuck in this awkward position. It was like I was frozen in this stance. No matter how much I fought against it, I couldn't get back up onto my feet. I sighed and kept on walking, coming to the end of the bright light. Hopefully I'm going to heaven...
I came out into a...forest? I sighed, still on my hands and knees I crawled forward. Oh boy, I hope no one sees me like this, they'd probably think I'm a nut-case and I'm not sure they'd want a nut-case running...AHEM, crawling around in Heaven. I spotted a river and decided to go wash my face. I made my way over to the river bank and stared at the face that looked back at me. I jumped back and screamed.
OH MY GOD I'M A DOG!
I crept towards the river again, and took a quick peek at my reflection. I dunked my head under the water and tried to rub my eyes. Nope, I had black paws, I was really a dog. I peered over the side of the bank and took in my features. I think I looked like a German Sheppard, or a wolf. The colour of my fur was a snowy white colour, with black paws and under belly. The tips of my ears and my tail were both black. My fur pretty much matched my hair, my human hair. Oh my God.
My right ear had a hole punched clearly through it. Ahh, the bullet wound. I rolled back onto my hind legs and pushed myself up. A long red scar carved itself down my fluffy stomach. I sighed and slid back down. I lay down on the side of the bank, dipping my paw into the cool water. I listened to the sound of my stomach and groaned as the fish swam up and down the lake, mocking me. If only I could catch one. I sat up and stretched my legs. It was so weird having four... I prepared to pounce, waiting for the right moment. I eyed up one particular fish who was acting rather cocky. It swam up and down, stopping just in front of me and then darting off if I moved. I growled and bared my teeth. Wow, why was I acting like a dog? Oh yeah, I am one!
I pushed hard against the ground and flew into the air, my claws out and mouth wide open to crush that damn fish in my jaws. I hit the water with a big splash and I grabbed it in my claws. I sniggered to myself and dragged my prey out of the water. I sweat dropped. I'd caught a wet, slippery twig. I glanced back and saw the cocky fish swim off, without a scratch on its skin.
'Awww come on!' I growled digging my claws into the earth.
'Want some help there?' I looked up, surprised to see a guy with white hair and a mask covering his face, sitting on a tree branch. His blue and metal plated headband covered his left eye. He wore blue pants, top and blue sandals. He wore a green body jacket over it. He looked a bit old than me, obviously when I was a human. I shook myself and tried my best to dry my fur.
'Yeah, maybe a little bit,' I mumbled. I was shocked to see that he wasn't startled by a talking dog. This guy must really get around. He jumped down from the tree and knelt down beside me.
'I'm Kakashi Hatake,' he said stroking my head. If I wasn't a dog, I would've jumped away like a ninja and shouted 'PERVERT!' at the top of my voice. But I didn't because in this life, I'm a dog and there isn't much I can do about it.
'I'm Emi,' I replied. I decided it would be best not to say my surname, I mean come on, how many dogs do you know that have surnames. Personally, I don't know any. Kakashi nodded.
'Where's your master?' he asked looking around. I shrugged.
'I don't have a master, never have,' I said looking down at my damp, muddy paws. When I looked up I found a fish lying in front of me. I grinned and dug in, I didn't care how I looked when I ate, I was a dog now so it shouldn't matter.
'Well, if you'd like, you could come back with me, there'll be better food, promise,' he patted my back. I thought about it for a sec. Hmmm, follow the stranger with the weird haircut and fashion sense, he'll give you food...or...starve to death. I know when I was at middle-school; the police came in and gave us this talk about not following strangers, even if they offered you food or something awesome, but to be honest, I don't think I have much choice. I nodded and followed him obediently. I guess I'd just found a place to stay for now...
