My alarm clock went off again, like it does everyday.

It's a normal day, school, synchro and homework. That's all I do.
Year 9, a new fresh start. It just feels like yesterday I was in primary school.
Primary school, I couldn't remember a thing. Just thinking of it, puzzles me out of curiosity.
I get out of bed and get dressed. I look around my room, seeing old photos from Year 6, sitting on my desk.
That was 3 years ago. Time flies by quickly...
I smiled, picking up the colourful polaroids. I buried my face into the glossy, bendable photo. Memories started flushing back in. All my crushes, friends, and moments just hit me again.
For a moment I cringed, then frowned. There was one particular person who I couldn't remember at all.

Who were they are?

Suddenly my phone buzzed. I ran over to the bedside table.
It was my boyfriend...
I smiled as I read his daily good morning message. I always enjoyed waking up to them, especially when he sends a long audio message.
I put my phone into my black school bag. I ran back to the polaroids, trying to think.

"Maybe if I look through the school photos, maybe I can find who they were!" I whispered to myself.

I went through every drawer on my desk, not finding the shit made photos. I looked under my bed to see the photos, collecting up dust. I blew on the photos, dust went everywhere.
I opened up, looking through my class.
Zoey, Isobel, Indiana...
Then I saw it. That's when it hit.
Harry... he's...that guy.

flashback

"I'm sorry, I can't love you." his voice sounded sad, "It could never be, it should never be."
He turned away from me, tears rolling down my face. What have I gotten into?

I felt broken. Was this really the right choice?
"No Sarah, this is just a primary school crush. No big deal." I said sobbing.

Last day of year 6, the end to the beginning.
The clock read 3:00pm, everyone one had their phones in hand. This was it, the finish line of our primary school days was just ahead. Everyone was videoing and taking photos of each other, saying our pre goodbyes. I looked to my friends, they were laughing and having a good time. Across the room I saw Luke, Chad, and Harry, talking.

Harry looked at me and looked away, it was like I was nothing to him. It was like I was never anything to him, I meant nothing to him.
"That's okay. I learnt the hard way." I softly spoke, smiling.

It was time to go through the tunnel of offical graduation. Everyone in front went in, parents cheering on their kids as they made it through. I had many thoughts, bit it was time to let go.
It was time to let go of him.

I was at the end of the tunnel, the whole class was preparing to take class photos. I joined in, next to my friends.

Once photos were taken, I went to my mums car.
I felt nothing but happiness, or was it I felt secretly sad?
No I was glad.
I learnt something from him. He taught me something fruity.

"So how was your last day, Sarah?" Mother asked, "Did you have fun?"
I nodded, looking out the window. I saw him again, for the last time.

I smiled.

"Thanks, Harry..."

end of flash back

I remember clearly now. Every detail, from how it happened to how it ended.

"Sarah! Breakfast!" A voice yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" I replied.

I threw the photos onto my desk, as I picked up my bag. I rushed to the kitchen, bumping into the wall on the way.

Once I had breakfast, I left the house. I was ready for the first day of Year 9. Today I was taking the bus to school, with my boyfriend. I walked to the bus stop, and waited.

When the bus arrived, my boyfriend was already on.

"I wonder if I'll get to see him one day" I thought, looking around the bus.

The bus arrived at the main bus station. We got off, and went to the next bus stop.

A bunch of boys nearly crashed into us, riding by.
To my surprise, one of them seemed familiar.

He looked at me, smiled and rode away.

"I believe we met before, I'm sure of it."
