"Oh, problema mo?" Tanong ni Kimmy sa'kin habang umiinom nung kape niya. Classmate siya ni Gabs na naging close na namin through Org stuff and because shiniship namin siya kay Uno.
"Eli's coming." I said and sighed.
"The heck?" Tanong ni Gabs na kakabalik lang galing sa may counter. "Ang rupok mo talaga fren." Sabi niya tsaka umupo.
"Gaga. He said he just wants to explain things." Sabi ko naman tsaka sumandal sa upuan ko habang naka-cross yung arms ko.
"So? Di pwede sa chat? Nako." She said while digging into her banoffee pie.
"Bahala na. I just want this to end." I said.
"What if he still likes you pala nga?" Asked Kim.
"I don't know. Bahala siya." I said, frustrated.
"Uwu, at least my ship is sailing!" Gabby cheered.
"Nakakain ka nanaman ng matamis!" Saway ko sakanya but child Gabby just shushed me.
"Pwede ba, nagmomove on yung tao." Sabi niya kaya natawa kami bigla.
"Ang pabebe mo kasi! Maria Clara ka ghorl? Edi sana di ka naunahan." Kantyaw ko.
"Paki-omit yung Maria Clara, nag-iinit yung dugo ko." Kim said, probably remembering an unfortunate event.
"Kumusta konsumisyon na'tin—" di natapos sa pagsasalita si Gabs dahil napalingon siya sa may likod ko habang nakataas yung kilay.
Napalingon naman ako.
"You lying ass btch. Pasimple ka pa na ayaw mo kay Eli tapos you're gonna ask him to meet you?!" Sigaw niya.
Dito pa talaga siya sa Starbucks eeksena? My God. Mahal na mahal niya public places ha! Buti nalang it was past lunch time na kaya kaunti lang ang tao.
"He was the one who asked me to meet him, i michin nyeon. (crazy girl: informal)." I rolled my eyes and ignored her.
"Don't hide behind your language, malandi ka!" She said and pulled a portion of my hair kaya napa-aray ko.
"Kimmy, nag-iinit pa ba yung dugo mo?" Gigil na tanong ko kay Kim.
She smiled. "Always." She said and took a sip of her coffee bago kami sabay na tumayo tsaka hinarap si Thia.
If she thinks I'd back down just because we're in a public place, she's so damn wrong.
"What the heck is your problem?" I asked in a very threatening tone.
"You're my problem, Alliah Seo! Salot ka sa buhay ko! I lost my boyfriend because of you, tapos baka alisin na ako as officer sa org ngayon!" She said tsaka ako sinampal doon sa dating nasampal niya.
Gago. Sorry Jords, mamamaga na talaga 'to nang tuluyan later. Ang ingat ko pa naman sa cold compress kagabi!
She was laughing after she slapped me. Ang sakit, tangina!
"Okay na, Gabs?" I asked and turned to her.
She was holding her phone up and while chuckling. "Saved. Go do your thing while I eat my pie."
"Velasquez, you two-faced bitch!" Susugudin niya sana si Gabs pero sabay naming nahigit yung buhok niya ni Kimmy tapos sa sobrang gigil namin, na-out balance siya at napaupo sa sahig.
Biglang dumating si Eli. Nagsumbong naman sakanya si Thia habang umiiyak.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry, Alli. I'll just message you again." Eli said.
"What? Why are you saying sorry to her? She hurt me!" Sabi ni Thia.
"You slapped her first." Eli said. So he saw everything. Good, ayoko na mag-explain. Ayoko na makisama sa issues nila.
"You should be the one apologizing, Thia." He added. "I'm sorry again." He said while looking at me. I nodded.
Pag-alis nila, napahawak nanaman ako sa pisngi ko.
"Hay nako, Alliah Veronica!" Saway sa'kin ni Gabs tsaka inabot sa'kin yung ice bag. Kailan siya nagkaroon ng time humingi ng yelo sa staff?
"Thank you, Gabrielle Francesca!" I told her. "Thank you, Kimberly Anastasia!" Sabi ko naman kay Kimmy.
Sabay nila akong sinamaan ng tingin. Mga taong galit sa second names!
"Bitin ako amp. Dapat nasampal ko din yung gaga!" Reklamo ni Kimmy.
Natawa ako. "Wala naman ginawa sa'yo, parang mas galit ka pa kesa sa'kin."
"Nakakainis siya! Ang kitid ng utak, MY GOD!" Gigil na sambit niya.
"I'll send this video to the Dean if she persists. That's better than being violent." Sabi ni Gabs.
We both agreed. We had to be the bigger persons kahit na sobrang gusto ko siyang patulan.
