I ran home as fast as I could, breath hitching and head throbbing, and slammed the door shut as hard as I could. My body collapsed against the door, and slid down it's length as I tried to cathc my breath.

What did I just see?

The room was spinning and my hand instincly flew to my sweat-glazed forehead. The hous was hot and dark and the lobby smelt of sulphur, the putrid gas making me want to gag. I picked myself up and my hands roamed the walls for the light switch, a difficult task in my situation, and I stumbled up the stairs to my room having already eaten by Alec.

God I miss that boy!

The bed was inviting, beckoning me to slumber and soon I gave in and horrid images of blood and gore, of the chelsea-scarred man and his masked friend swept in commencing the beginning of my nightmare.

I was standing in front of a very large house in the middle of the forest. The moonlight glinted off of it's many windows and the ringing sound of a wolf's howl pierced the atmosphere. The gravely dirt on the ground felt damp to the touch and the pine trees swayed gently to the breeze. Suddenly the house moaned and creaked and an unexpected chill filled the air and race up my spine. Then from between the trees, came 'people' with weapons and bloodthirsty beasts, slowly stalking their way to me. There was the scarred man and his friend, gory clown-like things and bird-like creatures, smiling animals, all dripping with blood. Their eyes, some were black, some were red, and some were dark bottomless pitts into which there was no end.

But the one that stood out the most, was an eight-foot tall man, with huge slippery tentacles extending  from his back and whom had no face.

They were walking to me, calling me, with heads slumped to the side and bloody smiles on their faces, enclosing me into a tight circle, weapons at the ready.

They continued to enclose me, and with every inch they moved I became more and more breathless. My heart was thumping wildly. I thought it would burst out of my chest. My breaths became more like gasps as I struggled for air and fear penetrated my core as beads of perspiration hung across my face.

And as the last remaining space was being diminished, the tall man, whom was making his way to the middle of the circle, looked down on me and said "Hello, my child."

And with my wailing scream I blacked out and the last thing I remembered was the scandalous laughing of the creatures and the blank, pale face of the tall man.
