Shrignold cried softly into his palms, his teeth clenched in sadness and stress. Oh he wished, he begged, he pleaded, but it was never done. He never got his hearing back. He will never hear his friends ever again. Paige, Tony, Colin, Health crew, Larry, never again. He wailed more and more as he kneeled in front of Malcolm. He prayed and prayed, but nothing. He caught up with them, and tapped their shoulder. They of course, jumped and faced him, ready to strike. But relaxed when they saw him. They signed a hello, and he signed one back. The teachers knew sign language, due to it being their only communication with them. He smiled and chuckled. He loved them. So much, and they had no clue. At least, that is what he thought. They knew it, and they loved him too. They loved how he used to preach to the teachers, and they would roll their eyes, Steak flat out told him to fuck off. But them, oh they loved it. Their face immediately turned crimson, and their heart fluttered. He was staring at them. Oh goodness! They couldn't take it much longer. Without thinking, or a warning, they grabbed his face and pulled him into a loving kiss. A kiss that sent shivers down his spine. A kiss that made their stomach flutter more, and a kiss that made their faces red as cherries and them weak at the knee.
He knew, that no matter what, him being deaf won't change a single thing. And that was all that mattered
