My English teacher made us write a prompt the other day based on horror. Mine was Claustrophobia. Please enjoy.
She was scared of small spaces, and he knew it. Oh, he knew it. He knew this for a long time, after all, it's his darling. Oh yes, that girl, he knew, she was his. Her long, silky black hair with her almond shaped eyes. A button nose, that grew red when she blushed. Her skin, softer than a rose petal, it was his. He knew where she was at all times, and knew her schedule. Sneaking in late at night, just to watch her sleep, it drove him mad. He'd take pictures, and plaster them all around his room, the girl's name? Alice. His name, David. David grew closer than anyone has to her. He knew everything. After all, he loved her. More than anything. His breath hitched as she rolled over, her face glimmering in the moonlight. He knew it was nearly time for her to awaken, but why stop there? Chuckling, he swooped her up. She was the lightest thing David has ever carried. He knew as soon as she woke up, she'd scream for her mother. That woman angered him so, keeping his precious flower away from him. away from him. He carried her out the window, which took some skill, and laid her in the box. A tiny box for that matter. The sun peaked over the mountains, and he panicked. David never wanted to get caught, or else his precious flower would be taken. He had to act fast. Shutting the box and putting it in his backseat, he drove off, happy to have her with him. Not even 2 miles down the road, she screamed bloody murder. Alice, only 15, trapped with her worst fear. She panicked, her breath quickening, she had to find a way out. But there was no use. The box wouldn't budge open. David laughed over her screams, and she screamed louder. Darkness surrounding her, as she screamed for her mother. The darkness and cramped walls consuming her, as she fainted from the fear. David begin laughing louder, as he knew, he was hers.
