-(Y/N)'s POV-
My vision blurred into black and then came back to me as my dreams begun.
I awoke in the dream collapsed on the floor, my knees touching the floor.
The floor felt wet, and it looked like a muddy, grassy ground.
I looked up and around me, struggling to my feet. Around me was a forest.
I walked further down towards a clearing and peered out, hiding behind a tree.
In the clearing, I spotted the inn. So this was like the area I was in in the waking world. And then I spotted Valdemar.
Valdemar was with two figures. One was.. the innkeeper woman... and the other was... The Devil.
I edged closer to the three people, trying to hear their conversation.
"Yes, yes.. preparations have already been made." Valdemar was saying, making eye contact with The Devil.
"Is she oblivious to it?" The Devil questioned.
"As far as I know, yessir." Valdemar responded slickly.
"We'll be able to dispose of her tonight. Soon." The innkeeper remarked.
"Very good. Make sure the blonde lamb doesn't interrupt the process. Only bring him as a sacrifice. Make her beg on her knees to make the trade." The Devil growled, and I stiffened.
I stiffened too much, apparently, because the shrub in front of my rustled lightly, and, to my horror, all three figures turned their heads towards me.
I ran away, as fast as my legs would carry me. I could hear their voices closing in on me, not just behind me, but on all sides. Their taunts trapping me.
I felt arms wrap around my torso and then my vision blurred, and then came back. I opened my eyes, my vision still hazy. But I wasn't in the inn room. I was in the same eery, dark forest I had seen Lucio in the time before this.
I realized that the person holding me was Lucio, and I squirmed quickly out of his touch, shivers running down my spine.
"Lucio." I said, turning around to see him fast asleep.
I slapped him on the cheek, and his eyes flashed open, startled.
"Ahh! Oh, hello." He began to scream, but then calmed himself.
"Don't touch me ever again." I growled lightly, glaring at him.
He raised his hands in defeat, "I get it. You're the magician's property. I'm very sorry for my naive nature."
"I am nobody's property!" I snapped, and his face flushed, as if he had just now realized his choice of words.
I sighed.
"Sorry.. I didn't mean to snap at you, it's just, this is a lot to take in." I said, looking down at my feet as I sat down Indian style on the wet ground.
"It's okay... I probably deserve to be snapped at, honestly. And.. I didn't think I'd see you again." Lucio confessed, his eyes starting to water lightly.
"What do you mean? I just saw you yesterday.." I said, tilting my head as I studied him in the darkness.
"R-Really? It feels like it's been centuries in this.. this f- er, stinking forest." He said, and I couldn't help but feel bad for him.
I awkwardly thumbed his cheek, trying to comfort him as he cried.
"Why did you pull me back here tonight?" I asked, and he blinked at me.
"I didn't." He responded, looking mildly confused. Who else could have? Hin- no. Perhaps my father.
"Hey, Lucio, do you have any idea where you are in relevance to where I am? Or where you are at all?" I questioned, and he shook his head sadly.
"I feel.. lost. And stuck. Or else I would try to find your group." He admitted.
"But I know I'm Nor-" He started, but he was cut off by my dream ending. My vision blurred into a piercing white light that caused a ringing in my ears, so I wasn't able to hear his words.
I woke up, and balled my hands into fists. If only I knew what he was about to say.
I forced myself to temporarily forget it. To just relax for mere moments. But the courtiers words.. the Devil's words.. Lucio's words.. they just confused me.
What process had they been talking about? What trade? I don't understand, but they must've been referring to me.
I sunk my face into Asra's slightly exposed, toned chest and closed my eyes tightly, forcing myself to relax.
I rested one hand on his chest and played with his hair with the other hand. His eyes were shut gently, and his breathing was soft and steady.
I knew what would help me understand this better. If I went to Valdemar's room to see if they were still there, it would help me understand the realm concept more, especially through dreaming.
I placed a careful, small kiss on Asra's jawline, enjoying the feeling of his warm skin against mine.
I then unentangled myself from him and stood up, sighing.
I then walked out of the room, lightly closing the wooden door behind me.
I crossed down a few hallways and reached the door I had seen Valdemar disappear through the night before.
I pushed the door open wearily.
There was nobody in the room, at least I couldn't make out their figure or feel their presence, not to mention hear their breathing.
I carefully guided my hand along the wall, and flipped the light switch onto "on" once my hand brushed against it.
I walked over to the small, wooden desk positioned near the wall of the room, noticing a journal atop it.
I picked up the journal and began to thumb through it.
Everything in the journal was written in a different language. One that wasn't ancient, but one I didn't understand.
I whispered it out loud, as if that would somehow translate it;
Сегодня ночью. Сегодня вечером, когда мы встретились. Я, Дьявол и Линя. Ученик ... она хороша как мертвая.
