-so yesterday was Valentine's Day and I think I've been making this book fairly serious so I'm adding a chapter that's primarily fluff -ily guys, rex <3-
Seriously though be prepared because this chapter will be fluffier than Asra's hair
-Asra's POV-
I ran my fingers through (Y/N)'s silky, (H/C) hair thoughtfully.
She buried herself in my bare chest, her breath tickling my skin.
I held her in my arms, content with the feel of her body against mine.
Luka squirmed his way beneath our entangled arms and nuzzled his face against (Y/N)'s face.
She grinned like a child as Luka licked her cheek, and she scratched him between the ears, giggling.
I watched her fondly.
"You're cute." I remarked, smiling as she looked up at me, bewildered, and blushed.
"Well, you're cuter." (Y/N) countered, and I quirked an eyebrow at her.
"Oh, really? How so?"
"You're cute in every way, I mean. Your hair, your eyes, your nose, your lips, your skin, your voice, your laugh, your snores, don't even get me started on your adorable dimples..~" She rambled, giving me a teasing wink.
"Well, that's hardly enough intel." I protested to her, pushing my curly bangs out of my face.
"Your, ahem, build." She continued, narrowing her eyes teasingly.
"My build? Whatever does that mean?" I prompted, acting innocent.
"Your body. All of it." She said lovingly.
"Mhmm, all of it?~" I whispered in her ear as huskily as I could.
"All of it." (Y/N) confirmed suggestively.
"Holy Arcana, you're really tempting me right now, (Y/N)." I admitted, lightly biting down on my bottom lip.
"As are you." She agreed, and I met her eyes.
"I really feel like I should.. hmm.. this is a weird time, but-" I muttered.
But I ended up doing it anyway.
I leaned forward and held her face with both my hands, and brought her closer so that our foreheads touched.
Then I pressed my lips against hers. Her lips were soft and warm, and felt so, so good to finally be against mine.
Again.
"Pour toujours, je le promets." I muttered melodically into her ear, after we pulled apart after seeming eternities.
"Moi aussi." She whispered back.
Luka rested in the crook of (Y/N)'s neck as she snuggled against me.
"Wanna like.. talk or something. Sorry, I just can't sleep." (Y/N) suggested, her mouth against my neck.
"Talk or something?" I chuckled softly. "Well, sure. But what about?"
"We could play a game, or visit a realm, or cast a spell together.. the possibilities are endless." She said, a glimmer in her (E/C) eyes.
"Or... we could play a game in a different realm and perhaps cast a few spells? That'll tire us out. Then, maybe we can cuddle, and then get some well-deserved rest?" I suggested, and she nodded.
"That sounds like Heaven to me." She giggled, hugging onto me.
"Okay. I've never travelled to a different realm while laying down, but let's give this a shot." I said.
Luka settled himself on (Y/N)'s back.
I let magical energy surge through my veins and held both of (Y/N)'s hands, closing my eyes tightly.
The magic surged.
And I opened my eyes to see a mystifying forest.
(Y/N) woke up, still in my arms on top of me, involuntarily pinning me to the ground.
"I seem to have forgotten that I'm not wearing a shirt, heh, whatever." I said, grinning at her.
-(Y/N)'s POV-
I woke up on top of Asra, inside of a new, mystifying forest, that was vaguely familiar to me.
"I seem to have forgotten that I'm not wearing a shirt, heh, whatever." Asra said, grinning down at me.
"Greetings again, Asra! And the wonderful apprentice!"
I knew that voice.
I just didn't know who, or what, it belonged to.
I turned my head to see an orange, fox-like figure that stood on two feet.
It had glowing, pure pink eyes.
It reminded me of Luka. But it wasn't Luka.
"Oh, how rude of me. I am The Magician!" The fox greeted.
"Like.. the Major Arcana magician?" I wondered aloud, and the Magician nodded curtly, "That would be me."
"My, how both of you have grown since last I saw you. I see you've finally grown into that hair of yours, Asra." The Magician laughed nostalgically.
"Have you seen baby pictures of him, (Y/N)? He was a curious child." The Magician asked, turning his attention to me.
He acted a lot like a father would towards Asra. I wondered.
"Well, not many." I admitted.
"Well then, today's your lucky day." The Magician announced, taking me by the elbow and leading me off into the woods as Asra followed behind us.
The fox led me to a cozy-looking cottage by a sparkly river, and then inside it.
He handed me a presumed photo collage.
I flipped through it.
Most all of the pictures showed a smaller Asra, with the same sparkly purple eyes, plump lips and bronze skin.
His hair was fluffy and curly and wooly, as it is now, and it certainly didn't fit his tiny body.
He wore a purple shirt with a large, red scarf that covered his neck.
"Aww!~ He was so cuuuute!" I near-squealed, resting my face on the palm of my hand as I flipped through.
Asra knelt down beside me, peering over my shoulder at the pictures.
"Wow.. my hair didn't fit me at all. How could I go into public looking like that? I looked like a sheep." He remarked.
"You were cute!~" I giggled, running my fingers over one of the many pictures of him.
"Well, cute is certainly a word for it. A weird word for it." He chuckled.
I just continued to fangirl over him.
"You're adorable, chubby cheeks!" I squealed softly, and he shook his head lightly.
"Sheep." He said nonchalantly.
"A cute sheep. My cute sheep."
"This is why I love you.." Asra chuckled lightly, brushing my cheek with his thumb and smiling.
"Are you two done flirting yet, because I believe you wished to play a game." The Magician interrupted.
"Yes, but what game?" I questioned, and the Magician smirked.
"A mortal's game. Perhaps truth or dare." He suggested.
I nodded, pumping my fists in the air.
"I would love that." Asra agreed.
---
"Okay. Truth or Dare, Asra? I'm getting these all from a popular teen website." The Magician started, looking over at Asra.
"I'll be risky. Dare." He said, running his fingers through his hair.
"Hmm, let's see.. I dare you to become the slave of another player for the next 5 minutes." The Magician said.
"Do I get to choose the player?" Asra questioned, giving me a quick sideways glance.
"Of course." The fox-like figure responded, and he also shot me a glance.
"Then, (Y/N)." Asra chose.
"And I have to force him to do something?" I ask, and The Magician nodded.
"I'll give you two five minutes alone." The fox said, winking.
Me and Asra exchanged a look.
"Well, then. Boss me around now, oh wonderful master." He teased.
"I will~" I giggled.
"I do kind of like where this is going, I won't lie~" He muttered as I ran my hands over his hips.
"I order you to just be cute in general. I doubt you even have to act differently." I ordered.
"I really don't know how, but I'll try!" He said, giving me a genuine, dimpled grin.
"Ah, you're already being cute and you haven't even started yet." I complimented, placing my hands on his shoulders.
Asra then conjured water in his palms, and let it cascade over his head and onto his shoulders, and his hair becoming sopping wet and drippy.
"Soggy sheep." I remarked, patting him affectionately on the head.
His bare chest and torso was now dripping with water, and he giggled softly.
"Uh, uwu?" He tried, shrugging.
"You're an adorable soggy sheep!" I giggled, holding onto his shoulders.
"This is hard." He admitted.
"You're a natural!" I giggled.
I hugged him tightly.
"Now never let me go." I whispered.
"I promise, I won't." Asra whispered back, his wet hair tickling my cheek.
Then The Magician opened the door and walked back into the cottage.
I was facing him, with Asra on his knees, his arms cradled around me.
"It appears you two didn't do much in here." The Magician remarked, smirking.
I smiled.
Asra reluctantly pulled away from me, still on his knees as he faced The Magician.
"Truth or Dare, (Y/N)?" He asked.
"Dare, I guess." I replied, grinning.
"I dare you to act cute for the rest of the game. Just to get my revenge." He giggled.
"Too easy!" I said triumphantly.
"Truth or Dare, Magician!" I exclaimed as cutely as I could, casting a side glance at Asra, who smirked contently at me.
"Dare." He responded.
"I dare you to have a private conversation with me, but you have to choose just one topic that we have to focus on!" I explained.
"Okay. The topic shall be Asra." He smirked at me.
"Oh, okay." I pouted out my bottom lip, trying to act cute, but secretly was hopeful for our conversation.
Asra left the room.
"You can start, (Y/N)." The Magician offered.
"Oh, okay. Well, was Asra always that undyingly adorable?" I asked.
"I suppose. He was a genuinely cute child, always curious and explorative." He said, smiling lightly at me.
"I see. Was he like a son to you?" I asked, and The Magician nodded.
"Is it true that you have feelings for Asra?" He asked.
"Well, yeah. I mean, he saved me. Saved me from.. Hina." I muttered.
"I understand. I don't blame you for being thankful." He sympathized.
I suddenly felt incredibly nautious.
It was because of Hina.
Just the mention of his name disgusted me and gave me goosebumps.
"I think we're done with the dare by now." I said, forcing a smile.
I stuck my head out the door and motioned Asra back inside.
"I'm kind of tired. If you don't mind, Magician, I think we'll be taking our leave now." Asra stated.
"I understand. Goodbye, you two."
---
Once we travelled back to our original realm, we were still in bed together, and time had seemingly not moved.
I fell asleep quickly, with no nightmares. Just cold, eery silence.
