Chapter 19 - Abhinavi Engagement!💕

Sid's P.O.V:

I walked out of my room and saw everyone down in the living room talking and getting stuff ready

My eyes searched for Avu but I couldn't see her in the living room

Oh God where is she now

I walked down to the living room and Abhi bhaiya told me to put some stuff in the car

5 minutes later when I came back to the living room after doing some jobs, Abhi bhaiya told me to ask mamma when we should leave for the engagement palace

"But where is mamma?" I asked him

"I saw her going into her room with Avu and Sonia aunty" Abhi bhaiya replied

I walked up the stairs again and walked to mamma's room

I heard laughing from her room and decided to eavesdrop on what they were talking about

"No aunty I really can't!" Avu protested

"Arre Avu it's just-" Sonia aunty said but Avu interrupted

"No mamma, no no no!"

Mamma and Sonia aunty laughed again

"But Avuu! He won't mind!" Mamma encouraged

Who won't mind? About what?

"But aunty!"

"Listen Avu, he's my son, I know him well, just do it beta you'll be fine!" Mamma said

That means they're talking about me or Abhi bhaiya!

Before Avu could say anything else, mamma and Sonia aunty gave her a big hug

"Ok bye Avu love you. I'm sorry we have to go now, me and Vibha need to make lots of arrangements for the engagement!" Sonia aunty said

"Love you beta!" Mamma said one last time and the ladies were going to walk out the door so I quickly hid and when they were gone I entered the room where Avu was saying stuff to herself

"Ughhh how will I do thissss" She said to herself

"Do what?" I said from behind

She jumped due to surprise and then turned back to see my face

"Sid you scared the hell out of me!" She said rolling her eyes

"Sorry madooo!!! Now tell me-"

"Did you hear everything?"

"Not everything..."

She chuckled

"Ok so you know na? Let's go then"

"No! I don't know anything!!!"

"But Sid you just said that you heard us talking!"

"I said I didn't hear everything! All I heard was that mamma and Sonia aunty were urging you to do something and you didn't wanna do it!"

"Ughhhhh ok whatever just do what I tell you to do, theek hai?"

"No way you gotta tell me!"

"Siddddd we will be late!!!!"

"I don't care"

I held her wrist and dragged her closer to me

"Chill Avu! I'm not going to mind" I comforted

"Ok fine it's just that I had my period so I told mamma and she said to ask Vibha aunty but Vibha aunty said she doesn't have any pads left so they told me to tell you so we could go to the chemist and buy some pads!" Avu explained
