NIGHT TIME:
"Good night mamma, papa." Avu said yawning from the door of her parents' room
"Goodnight beta. Sleep well" Aman uncle replied
Sonia aunty was already asleep in bed
Avu walked into her room and Jai followed her inside
"Jai, go away bro, I'm sleepy I don't have time for your nonsense yaar" Avu said, lying down on bed
"Just a question di!" Jai requested, standing next to her bed
"Uggghh, Speak"
"The dream.. What are you gonna do about it?"
"I'll just sleep hugging my beloved pillow.."
"Haha, very funny! 😒 What if the dream still comes?"
"Then I'll just cry myself to sleep"
"Pagal ladki! Do you want me to sleep with you?"
Avu looked at how much care Jai had for Avu in his eyes
"You may be annoying, but you care so much for this pagal sister of yours" Avu said, getting up from her bed
"I love you Avu, and after knowing how much struggle you have with that dream, I'm worried for you" Jai said
Avu hugged Jai
"Don't be worried. I've got three men in my life who mean the most to me" She said while hugging him
Jai immediately let go of Avu
"One, papa, second, me, who's the third?" He said crossing his arms
Avu blushed
"Umm.. You know.. Him.." Avu shyly said
"WHO?"
"Him"
"WHO?"
"HIM!"
"WHO IS HIM?"
"Jai, I mean-"
"WHO?"
"I MEAN SID! ISN'T IT OBVIOUS?"
There was silence
"I HOPE YOU TWO AREN'T FIGHTING AGAIN!" Sonia aunty yelled from her room
Jaineet burst into laughter
"I thought mamma was sleeping!" Avu said between her laughs
"Same!" Jai replied and they both laughed again
"Hmm.. Toh I see how close you and Sid are.. Or should I say you and your BOYFRIEND?" Jai teased
"Shut up! You know you and Reem were dating before us two?" Avu replied
"Ok now let's not change the topic..."
"My lil' bro is shyyyy, I seeeee!!!"
"Shut up Avu!"
"Ok ok sorry, now go to your room and sleep!"
"If that dream bothers you then come to my room or shout out my name, ok?"
"Yes ok I will but anyways I've got my Siddu right here with me, I'll sleep well!"
