•Baileys point of view•

"So this is my competition" I scoff... He's so weak... I could snap his neck like that...

James wakes up....

"James!, What the hell!?" Laura says, She really loves him...

James slurs "Laura-- wh-where- w-who is h-he?" He points to me

"Her mate, Her real mate" I smile and turn to look at Laura, She's really pissed off... Great,

All James could do was sit up and eyes wide like he just saw a ghost..

"He's lying!, I'm y-your mat-te" He chokes out... Can't she tell he's lying?

She can feel the tingles when ever I touch her...

"I-i J-jus-- I d-don't know"... She doesn't know!? I'm her mate and she knows it!!!!

Laura helps James up and walks him to the bathroom... She gets towels and gives them to him... Great we have time to talk...

"Bailey, maybe we should sit down," I do as she says and push the beer bottles out of the way and sit down on the bed and she sits in front of me on a yoga ball

"So, that was James, your mate?" I ask, Trying not to choke on my words, I didn't like seeing her with him, Knowing that he touched what was mine.

"Yeah, I can't go with you" She looks down and taps her feet on the ground, The last words were enough to crush and break me, She didn't want me...

"But she didn't reject you" my wolf says, I mutter "yet"

"W-why n-not?" I choke out, I really did care about her, I didn't want her to say with James, alone,

"You saw what state James was in, I was really convinced he was my mate, Your pack needs you, I don't" Her words were like knifes in my heart, how could she say that?

"You might not need me, But I need you" may I actually cry, I don't usually cry,

"I-I'm sorry, I don't need you, Please forgive me, someday," How could I forgive her?, Were mates, Forever

"I Laura lee Green, Reject you Bailey-" I cut her off and kissed her, I hope this changes her mind,

The door creaks open, She looks at the door, there standing a half naked, James, eyes full of anger,

"It's not what it looks like, I swear James," she wiggles out of my grip and hugs James, I growl, He's not touching what's mine,

James backs up "Yes, because everyone goes and kisses some guy while there boyfriend is In the shower, Because that's normal, Godammit Laura!," He yells at her and she flinches, and slowly walks back,

I step up and grab James neck and push him against the wall and yell in my alpha voice "DONT TALK TO MY MATE LIKE THAT"

Laura flinched and backed up and jumped out of the window... Damn, For how small and weak she is she can jump out a two story window... Wow,

I let go of James and he falls to the floor gasping for air, I grab a bag of hers and stuff some clothes and... A cute medium sized teddy bear, And jumped out the window following her scent.. I can't lose her for the second Time..

•Laura's point of view•

Bailey was choking James, what was I suppost to do?, I was scared and I didn't have much of a exit plan, So I just jumped out the window...

Damn that actually really hurt.. I run off to a place in the woods I know..

When I was little I used to come here to get away from the abuse.. Me and my friend made it before she 'disappeared' I never really found out what happened to her.. She was a healer, we usually hate healers but she was nice, her family was not, We made this tree house, not two big, just like a regular tree house, I miss her, I wondered what happened to her..

I ran as fast as i could and I climbed the tree and went in the tree house

I gasped at what I saw... She was standing right there... My best friend, The one I thought disappeared, The healer, She doesn't have a good vibe on her,

"Meredith? Is that really you?" I asked, I was getting a bad feeling about this, I haven't seen her In 11 years,

"No dip Sherlock" Same old Meredith, funny, and sarcastic,

I ran up to her and hugged the death out of her but I felt a sharp pain In my stomach, I looked down and she had a knife,

"Why do you have a knife?" Stupid question but you know,

"They're following me, sorry if it cut you it was in my jacket pocket, I put a spell on this, They can't get in," She smiled, who was they? Why where they coming after her?

As she ready mind, I forgot she could do that "They, is witches, you see I went on there territory and they're coming after me" I gasped,

And then all went silent,
