My first crush without broken bones

It was the morning of the entrance exam and you weren't worried. Contrary to most peoples view of you you were a huge nerd, a love for all things science and more than decent at the more cultural subjects. The practicals were also something you weren't worried about, although you could fail both of you fell asleep. Your sleep hasn't improved much despite your attempts, so that might become a problem. Your friends were very worried however, and to motivate them you came up with an idea. We agreed not to meet up until we made it, so we were al trying extra hard.

When you were walking towards the station you saw a girl your age walking out of a house, she had aux-cords growing from her ears. While running past you one of her cords touched poked you, giving you a shock "Argh". The girl stopped and turned around "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. My name is Kyoka Jirou, I'm just a bit nervous for the entrance exam. Let's hurry up, we're running late." You responded in a calm tone "Don't worry, just follow me. I know a shortcut."

[At the station]
"How did you do that, do you have some sort of teleportation quirk?" Jirou asked for the 6th time. Becoming frustrated by hearing the same question over and over you finally answered "No my quirk isn't teleportation, it's Bone Manipulation and Soul Magic. It's a mix from my parents quirks, I can create and control bones. I also can see and move a soul and the body attached to it, giving me a slight telekinetic ability. Teleportation is a side effect of that." She nodded and got out her phone to play some music, seeing the battery was really low. "Goddammit my phones' dead." "What were you going to do on your phone?" You asked. She shrugged her shoulders "I just wanted to listen to some music from (favorite band) but now I can forget about that." You grabbed your own phone, headphones and a splitter. You handed her the phone "Here, I also like their music. Choose something and give me back the phone. She hummed a response and unbeknownst to you, gained a slight blush. You decided to start a conversation "Are you nervous for the exam?" She hummed a positive response again, so you asked a follow-up question "The writen or practical exam". She sighed before answering "both, I'm sure the questions are going to be way harder then expected and the practical will be impossible without a quirk as strong as yours." You finally turned to look at her "Don't worry about things that can happen before they happen, I keep making that mistake and it brought me nowhere. And besides, at least you are confident in your ability to stay awake during the exam. Man sleep deprivation is the worst." Her expression turned a bit happier and she giggled softly, the way the light from the windows hit her made her look beautiful. You looked away with a bit of a blush "Let's go, this is our stop."

You stood before the building, pulling some caffeine pills out of your blue jacket. You saw Mina and Kirishima walking towards you and Jirou. "So this is it huh? I'm still kinda nervous." Kirishima said. He received an energetic response from Mina "Oh don't worry Kiri~, we all promised we would make it!" Her eyes then landed on Jirou, gaining little starts that always seem to appear when she is going to tease some unfortunate souls "Oh and who is that Sans, did you bring a girl with you. Aww." When Mina said that Jirou gained a huge blush, while you gave an unimpressed response when you saw that Kirishima wasn't paying attention "Oh shush, or do you want to have Kirishima know about your little crush? I met her when I was walking towards the station." When you mentioned her crush it became Mina's turn to go red, barely registering the rest you said "G-g-g-got it." She stuttered, making Jirou burst out laughing. Your smile, a real smile this time, widened slightly while responding "Let's go, the exam is about to start!"

With that you all walked towards the doors, going towards the room where they take the written exams. You discover that you and Jirou are placed next to each other, much do your delight. Also to your delight is that you only fell asleep once, waking up immediately thanks to Jirou sticking one of her cords in your ear. After that you quickly finished the test and waited until it was time for the practicals.

You were all called to a big hall. You and Jirou again being placed next to each other, you were talking about what you thought was going to happen until a loud voice was heard.

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in welcome to my show today! Everybody say "hey"! The Hero you recognize as Present Mic said. Only to be met with silence. "What a refined response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam! Are you ready? Yeah!" He shouted again, and again he was met with silence. He sweat drops at the silence "As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!
Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited!" Suddenly a kid with glasses shouted something, while making weird chopping motions with his hands. I wasn't paying attention, you only heard th that the 4th robot was worth 0 points. Rest you cancelled out, you started falling asleep until you were startled by extra loud shouting. You looked towards Present Mic "Go beyond. Plus Ultra! Now, everyone, good luck suffering!"

[Time skip to the battle area]
You, Mina and Jirou were standing in front of the battle zone waiting for the starting signal. 'U.A is known for doing the unexpected, so the starting signal will probably come pretty unexpected'. You decided to share your thoughts, casually kicking a short purple-haired pervert away from Mina. After the signal the three of you would hop onto your Gaster Blasters, while doing that you would also make a barrier with bones to buy a few more seconds.

The three of you stood in position to take of, and then the start signal came. While the others were standing still in surprise at the lack of a countdown, you and your friends had already hopped on your Gaster Blasters. When they realized what was going one you were long gone and had left a meter thick bone wall around the entrance. As soon as you passed the bone barrier the three of you went your separate ways, you took the middle road. You spotted a 4 two pointer robots, using your bones to attack one of them while using your blasters to destroy two other, the fourth you threw into a building using your telekinesis. Your bones, normally great for pierce attacks, weren't able to get through the robot's armor. You quickly took care of it with a blaster. 'Guess that I have to stick with telekinesis and blasters for this one'.

By now most of the exercise was over, and everything was under control. You saved a few people since they will probably also award points for that, it's the biggest part of being a hero after all. Then the ground suddenly started shacking, the zero pointer has appeared. A huge robot bigger than most buildings, let's avoid it. At least that was the plan, until you heard a familiar voice letting out a bloodcurdling scream. You looked over your shoulder and saw Jirou, being tied down by two girls right in front of the zero pointer. Immediately jumping to action you grabbed the girls' souls, throwing them away. You teleported towards Jirou, standing in front of her protectively. You summoned a sharp bone that Jirou used to cut herself free, while you went up by standing on your Blaster. To buy Jirou and others possibly stuck underneath the zero pointer you opened an full on assault on the robot, slowly destroying it. When it was almost time you suddenly found your Blaster shaking, only to see the same two girls trying to get you down with some sort of sharp bullets made of hair, some on fire Jirou tried to stop them but eventually the Blaster shattered and your shoulder got pierced, making you fall. You saw the Pro Hero Vlad King running in your direction, trying to catch you. You used your Blaster to slow down, it seemed to be working but the girls kept shooting. Vlad King seemed to think the same as you saw him running towards Jirou to assist her. He knocked both of them out quickly making both Heroes and teens watching the events unfold release a collective breath. You, Vlad and Jirou made their way towards the entrance in silence with the tied up girls, you now identified as twins, behind you. You made it and sat down, waiting for Recovery Girl to show up.
