Your POV:

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock, groaning as I turn it off. I sit up in my bed and stretch. I grab my phone and see the date. April 29th. Elijah's birthday. I totally forgot about it! I don't even know where I am taking him! I hop out of bed and take a shower, brush my teeth, and put this on:

And wear my hair like this:

I put on some casual makeup and go downstairs.
"Mornin' sleepy head!" Alyssa said.
"Morin" I answered.
Alyssa was making breakfast, like always, and I went and started to do the dishes. Once I finish, I sit down at the bar.
"Are you nervous for today at all?" Alyssa asked.
"Well, I mean— of course I am! I'm confessing my feelings for someone!"
"Oh, quit being a baby. Where are you taking him, anyways?" Alyssa asked as she put a plate in front of me.
"I'm thinking about taking him to the 'Spot'," I answered. "I could decorate it with lights and everything."
"That is such a good idea! You should do it!"
"This is why we're friends. You are so supportive." I said.
"Awh, thanks. Now eat your food."
"Oh yeah, right!"
We both started laughing.

(Time-skip 3 hours)

Before I went to set up Elijah's surprise, I put this dress on:

And I wore my hair like this:

And makeup like this:

I went to the store to buy some things for Elijah's birthday. I bought fairy lights, blankets, pillows, balloons, food, etc. After that, I went over to the "Spot" and set everything up. I laid out all of the blankets and pillows, blew up the balloons, set out all the food on tables, and hung up streamers. I also bout some candles and lit them up, too. It looked like this:

I nodded my head in satisfaction. I texted Elijah and told him I was going to pick him up.

Elijah's POV:
It's mine and Ethan's birthday today. Me and The Pals are going to hang out today and probably go watch the new movie, "Bad Boys for Life" at 5.
It was 4:30, and me and the boys were getting ready to leave. The movies was about 25 minutes away so we should be there in plenty of time. I put on my shoes and we head out the door.
When we get to the movies, we buy some popcorn and get our tickets. We walk to the movie room and sit down. I was thinking about how I haven't talked to Y/N all day. I decided to wait until we get home to text her.
Once the movie ended, we walked out of the theatre talking about the movie.
"I thought it was pretty good," Denis said.
"Same here," Alex said.
When we got home, I got a text from Y/N.

Y/N: I'm coming to pick u up. Got a surprise😉
E: Lol ok. I'll be ready
Y/N: Also dress kind of nice. See u in a bit

"Guys, I just got a text from Y/N. She said she has a surprise for me," I explained to the guys.
"Maybe she is going to ask you to be her boyfriend!" Alex exclaimed.
"Oooooooo," they all said in unison.
I felt my cheeks get hot.
"Elijah, you're blushing," Sub said.
"N-no. I-I'm just...h-hot."
"You like her, don't you?" Denis asked.
"Ugh. Fine, I like her. Now, can you guys just let it go?" I asked.
They all just looked at each other.
"Skoopy has a girlfriend! Skoopy has a girlfriend!" They all sung.
I rolled my eyes and went to get ready. I put on khakis and a blue polo shirt. Then, I got a text from Y/N. She's here. I walked downstairs and put on some nice sneakers.
"I'm out, bruthas," I said, walking out and shutting the door behind me.
I walked up to her car and got in the passenger seat.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Y/N yelled at the top of her lungs. I swear the whole neighborhood could hear her.
"SHHH! Be a little quieter!" I whisper shout to her. She nods and starts to drive.
We stopped at a stoplight and she told me to put on a blindfold. I put it on and she started to drive again.

—10 minutes later—

I felt the movement of the car slow down, and then it stopped. Y/N came to the other side. She opened the door and led me out. We walked up somewhere and she took off my blindfold. When she took it off, I was amazed at the sight.
