How Do I Tell Him? :: An MJ Fan-Fic

Chapter 1

    (Your P.O.V -one month ago-)
I ran into a dark alley beside "Michelle's Bar" with cold wet tears staining my soft red cheeks. They slid down my face, to my jaw line, and finally dripping off my chin to the cold gravel. I plopped on the wall and dragged my body down to the ground while covering my face, my tears building up a shallow puddle in the palm of my hands. The overcast of a woman-like figure approached me slowly and worryingly. The womanly figure moved my hands from my face. I look up but the figure was a blur. I whipped my tears and my vision came to. It was my friend, Autumn. I sighed with relief, good to know it wasn't my boyfriend...or ex now.
"You can''t be okay...Tell me Michelle ....What happened?" Her calm and soft voice asked, eager in response.
"...." I stay silent for a while, " It's about Jake..."
"Tell me!" She now asked with more eagerness.
" Well...." And the tears come again...It's as if they were informed on a party and every little drop showed up, " I was looking for Jake because he said he would be home at ten...but it's two in the morning...and I knew he would be here so I walked in and saw him making out with five girls! FIVE GIRLS!!" Now my face was covered with the partygoers...
"Oh that is terrible..." Autumn hugs me with those hugs she only gave me when I broke up with my first boyfriend. "You better know I'll kick his ass!"
This made me giggle softly. "Only if I am there to watch, I'll bring some popcorn." At this point we were both in laughter. My flow of tears were leaving and hopefully they won't come back.
"Well are you going to keep Hailey?"
"Of course! That low life can take care of a child!" Hailey is my four year old daughter. She is the most cutest thing and NOTHING like her father. She'll be living with Jake OVER MY DEAD BODY; literally!

(Your P.O.V -present- )
I walked home from school (I was a teacher) with a smile crept across my face. Today was the last day of school and I have the whole summer of freedom! I mean I love kids, don't get me wrong, but sometimes they can be a handful! I fanned myself with my hand and pulled out my house key. I stuck the key in the lock and turned it; unlocking the door. I open the door and Hailey ran up to me. Get ready for another bear hug! She hugged me tight and I hugged her back. She always does this every day after school so I am prepared.
"Mommy, Helen fell asleep a few minutes ago." She says.
"She did?" Helen is her baby sitter. She is normally responsible, BUT at least it was only a few minutes ago. "Hehe go jump on her!"
"Okay Mommy!" She ran into the living room and jumped on her, "Wake up, wake up, wake up!"
Helen fell off the couch with a thud. "Ooow!"
"Mommy is home!"
I walk in the living room while putting the keys back in my purse. "Yes, mommy is. And a certain babysitter fell asleep while watching someone, did she not?"
"I.......I swear it wasn't me! It was someone else!"
I giggle while pulling out a ten dollar bill and hand it to her, "It's OKAY!" She smiles awkwardly and leaves, greeting us on the way out. Hailey goes to her room and plays with her dolls that I bought last week. I plop on my soft comfy couch and relax; though I am only able to relax for a while, for my phone goes off. I pull it out my pocket and open it without looking at the name that stood presentingly.
" Hey Michelle!" A gentle and Pleasent voice says to me, one I haven't heard in what felt like ages....could it be?
"Michael?!" I respond to the voice with glee.
"Hello to you too." He replies jokingly.
"It's been forever! how are you?" I ask.
"Good. May I ask you something?"
"Lay it on me."
"Do you wanna go on a vacation?"
"Sure, but why?"
"Ya'know...It's summer! Take a break from everything! I'll go with you if you want..."
"You will?!...Wait but don't you 'never stop working'?"
"Hehe well it just so happens I have no schedule for this month!"
"Great! But where are we going?"
"Hmm...didn't you rent that private party mansion about a week ago?"
"..Hm...Ooooh that's right! Well let me call the others and we'll all get packed! We shall head out tomorrow!"
"Okay then! Bye :)"
"Bye ;)"

I went into Hailey's room and told her we were going on vacation and she jumped with excitement. She loved traveling places. I told her I would help her pack in a second and then went into my room. I called my close friends Autumn, Chyna, Brooke, Justin, and Austin to get packed and meet me at my house the next day. I packed my items and soon enough went into Hailiey's room. She was packing all her dolls and clothes; making a mess everywhere. I giggle and help.
"Let me fold the clothes and then you can put them in okay?"
"Okay then"
We do just that and I fold all her summer clothes I picked out a while back and she neatly put them in. Once I was done there was only enough room for one or two dolls. She looked disappointed.
"Well I'll take Mr. and Mrs. Darling then." She comes to the conclusion while putting them side by side. I close the little pink suitcase and look at her alarm clock. Wow! I guess time went by fast because it was already 7:22 pm!Hailey's bedtime is 8:30 pm. I get her to take a bath while I walk into the kitchen and make a quick dinner. When she got out she got into her pajamas and ate. I sit down to eat as well. I then clean the dishes and she brushes her teeth without me asking for her too. She steps on the purple poka-dots in her room, avoiding the pink carpet- or excuse me the "Lava" and jumps on the bed with her stuffed teddy bear and closes her eyes. I walk in and turn of her lights but she interrupts me.
"Don't step in the lava."
I smile and turn off the light  :)
