Tuesday
Lexi woke me up crying this morning. She was up earlier than usual.
" Whats wrong?" I ask.
" Get ready were going somewhere, not school. Hurry up." She mumbles walking out of my room before I could ask her where. I get out of my bed and I grab a tshirt, one I got from softball and put it on. I slipped some skinny jeans on and grabbed a belt out of the closet. I tucked in my shirt and put my belt on. I went to the bathroom and put my hair ina pontail. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I grabbed a jacket out of my closet and my phone off my nightstand and headed downstairs. You could tell my mom had been crying.
" Where are we going?" I ask. Nobody responded. We piled into the car and on down the rode we went. Nobody spoke. I didn't bother to ask again where we were going because nobody answered the first time. Lexi was sitting in the passanger seat and I was sitting in the back seat behind my mom.
" Would you turn on the music?" I said yawning. I leaned back into my seat and fell asleep.

" Were almost there." Lexi was tapping on my shoulder. She must have climbed into the backseat to wake me up because she was sitting beside me.
" Almost where?" I ask. Everyone was silent, " Oh my gosh for the last time, someone tell me where where going! " I try to stay calm. Tears rushing down Lexi's face. We pull up to a hospital.
" How long was I asleep?"
" An hour and a half." Lexi mumbles.
" You can answer that question so tell me what we are doing here?" I was angry. Somebody better tell me something now because I am tired of not knowing what is happening. We go up to the front desk.
" Who are you here to see?" The lady behind the counter asks.
" Jon Burke. " My mom says. Her eyes watered.
" Room 113. " The lady says.
" What happened to Dad!?" I break out into tears.
" He um..." My mom wipes away her tears.
" He got in a car accident." Lexi blurts as she breaks into tears. We went down the long hallway and nobody spoke. We turned left and reached 113. We went in and my dad was laying on a bed. His eyes were closed and he had a bunch of cords surrounding him. I went over to him and grabbed his hand. He didn't open his eyes. he was still breathing though. He had that thing that went up your nose to help you breathe.
" He will live right?" I ask.
" Most likely." My mom says.
" I can't handle this. " Lexi says walking out of the room.
" Grandma is picking you guys up and taking you shopping so you can do whatever." My mom says.
