Y/N's heart rate persistently climbed as she stared at the scribbles left by students of previous years on the desk. Moments like these always made her anxious; she hated group projects, especially when the partners are assigned. Her mind ran in circles thinking of who she was going to get stuck with. The project was a PowerPoint presentation and all the work was going to have to be done outside of school, meaning she would have to go to someone's house. The more she thought about it the more lightheaded she felt. Her hands shook as she awaited the calling of her name. "Y/N, Charlotte, Emma, and Sanha" the teacher droned over the buzzing of several side conversations. Y/N let out a sigh of relief. Grateful that her groupmates all got good grades and would not make her do all the work. Emma and Sanha were the loud pair of the class, but she knew that they would pull their weight. Her worries slowly floated away as her mind pondered what quotes to use from the book in their presentation.

"Ok class find your groups, you will have the last 5 minutes of the class to brainstorm, the rest is to be done outside of school" and with the teachers military-like orders the class erupted, falling into different areas of the room as the students frantically separated into their assigned groups. Y/N searched through the sea of faces, trying to find Emma, Sanha, and Charlotte. She jumped when she the loud scrape of a chair being pulled up behind her, quickly turning to see Sanha seated to her left. A wave of embarrassment washed over her and she fixed her gaze at the floor. He looked at her, his eyes traveling to the paper layed out on her desk that was filled eith notes and ideas. Emma and Charlotte approached, immediately posing the question of where they would be working on the project. "My parents are going away this weekend, so you can all come to my place on Saturday," Sanha said raising his hand to a 90-degree angle. "Great see you all Saturday" Charlotte cheered shooting a smile at the whole group.
