Chapter 18: Oh Ghoul Oh Hero

As crowdeds become distant showdowns and their cheers echoed long ago. We made our way to safety.

"what where you thinking!!!" she screamed and shouted as she let it all out. "you know how lucky we are there is no CCG after us.

" so? " i ask, she was puzzled then angry. Her mouth brewed many words, many of which would come out hot and painful. But she didn't she bites her lips and blow steam out of her mouth and ears.
" I jumped in to rescue the kid, i killed the villain. So if any CCG investigator was there then only me, myself and i would be in trouble" I said to her, no verbal response but painful slap in the face was her only response.

"you know your way back" she said walking off Furiously, her words honest but painful to say for her.

There i stood in ally way where i didn't t know. I walked and walked till i met civilization. i walked trouth the city i saw news report on tv, it was about me and what I did earlier. I couldn't hear what the reporter was saying but the whispers of crowed where deafening.

They all spoke in fear of me, like Toka as she spoke earlier. My thoughts wondered at that moment "it was my fault, i was selfish" i said to myself.

As crowds around me walk by. Some rushing to work with no excitement in though. It made be wonder "what is my goal?"

As i said the once lives deceased workforce around be shook up to the sky seeing golden head man flying his way above his and looking done to us with the second some beeming away from his mouth.

"that my goal, this is my goal. I want to be like him" i said To myself. I thought i said to in my mind but the words passed my lips. The man next to me said and smiled "if want to like him then why don't you go apply at UA" he said, the name alone sounds familiar but i know i don't know it. He noticed and explained it me.

My mind and body was filled with excitement just thinking of going to place like that. 

I used my day in the city going to every shop where i saw shadow of heroic items. They all fasted me. After while i found books about all the current and some retried heros. It had all their information expert there more personal lives just their heroics. I read and read till the point where i had to leave to go back 'home'.

The day left me with safety, joy and wonder. Nou the night whispered the same ideas but showed an different world.

The night all the ghouls come out. The walk like me,
they talk like me,
they look like me
and sound like me.
Like they where just normal people like me .

Till i saw them hunting and snarling at me as i walked to close.

I walked like them
I talked like them
I looked like them
And sound like them
Like i was some kind beast like them.

I run off towards the Café. Red eyes looking at me form every corner. And not only them but the villains walked around looking for fun in there why. I run and stumbled into one. He had burned patches all over him. He looks me his hand burning blue. Eyes pointed at me, all the while the cold feeling of steel moved around my neck while soft skinned girl held it there.

I thought i would die and be burned alive there, fear rushed over me.

"where you going this late kid?" the girl said whispering into my ear.

I said nothing unable i was even if i wanted to.

"lost your voice?, oh that suck looks like you have no use for your tongue then" she said holing me down with extreme force as she moved her knives into my mount the cold metallic taste was overwhelming. Her giggles of joy and tears of fear become lesser and lesser as moments passed.

She struggled to cut me she pulled it out and tryed with full force my chest. Nou her knives was in splinters as it broke on impact.

"that was my favorite knives" she said seriously. She looked at the gut point at me he nodded.

An blue warmth flowed over me. As it moved the smell of burning was entering the air as my clothes left my body. Leaving me exposed but covered by fire.

Moments later he stopped and looked shocked. He kicked me in the balls and walked off "fuck you for not dying you stopped demi human" he said walking off with girl.

So i stood up and walked with embarrassed as my clothes into the dark till i reach home.

Luckily they all where asleep or i though. I walk into my room seeing Toka lying in my bed asleep. Shocked i shouth waking her up. She shot up from fright. But as her eyes adjusted she saw me in all my glory and screamed her left. And to make it Worst it rose

Her face reder then Mars ran out of my room faster then light. as quite as mouse she dint spoke when she left.

Nou i stood naked. Jumped into bed wishing those two villains did kill me
