Romans Protective Mode Activated

(Romans POV)
I stood Virgil next to me and kept him close, putting my arm around his waist.
"You wanna say that to my face?!" I called out, looking around. I didn't know who said it but it sounded like a middle-aged woman.
"I would gladly." She said stepping forward. "Wouldn't you like to know that being gay is a sin? You two will go to hell! Awful! Awful people!" She yelled getting closer. Virgil clung to me.
"Oh, shut up old lady! No one wants to here you run your mouth okay? Everyone is allowed to love who ever they want. Whether that person is male, female, non-binary or anything else!" I yelled back.

(Virgil's POV)
I clung to Roman as she stepped closer. Roman yelled back at her and I flinched a bit. I've never heard Roman yell, it was a bit scary. The woman was also token a back by it and tried to charge at us. I let go of Roman and ran. And the lady took that as an opportunity to run after me.

(Romans POV)
She charged at us and Virgil ran, she chased after him. I ran after her as fast as I could. If she hurts Virgil, she'll be sorry.

(Third Person)
The lady caught up to Virgil and held him by the neck. Virgil gulped for air and she tightened her grip and lifted him off the ground a bit. "You should go to hell, you monster!" She yelled in his face.

(Romans POV)
I saw what she was doing and ran up to them. I pried her hand off of Virgil's neck and pushed her to the ground. I stood in front of Virgil, protecting him.

(Virgil's POV)
Roman pried her hand off my neck and I took a deep breath. He stood in front of me and I wrapped my arms around his middle section, holding on for dear life. I buried my face in his back.

(Third Person)
The woman stood up and Roman punched her in the chest then ran off with Virgil. He then picked him up and carried him bridal style to the ticket booth, where they would meet up with Patton and Logan.
"Omg kiddos, what happened?!" Patton exclaimed.
"I'll tell you when we get in the car, but we gotta go." Roman said heading to the car.

(Virgil's POV)
Roman sat me in the car and climbed in next to me. Immediately I clung to him, burying my face in his shoulder.

(Romans POV)
I hugged him and rubbed his back, whispering calming things in his ear, like "It's alright, she's gone" and "Calm down storm cloud, I'm right here". Patton and Logan got in the car, Logan started the car and we were off.
"What happened kiddos?" Patton asked.
"A homophobic lady tried to strangle Virgil..." I explained.
"Oh no! Is he alright?!" He turned around and looked at Virgil.
"He will be, but he's pretty shooken up from it." I said, hugging Virgil tighter.
The rest of the car ride was silent. Virgil eventually fell asleep on my shoulder again. He was so adorable. We got home and I carried Virgil to his room. I lied him down and was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand.

(Virgil's POV)
I woke up a bit and saw Roman about to leave. Somehow I got the confidence to grab his hand. "Wait, don't go..." My voice sounded distorted and scratchy. Probably from the lady grabbing my neck. She had a strong grip, but Roman was stronger.

(Romans POV)
"Wait, don't go..." he said. His voice was in awful condition. I blushed a bit and nodded, sitting on the bed next to where he was lying down. He sat up and hugged me. I hugged him back and smiled.

(Virgil's POV)
Shit, I think I'm in love with him. He would never love me back though...no one even likes me, how would I expect someone to love me...? I fell back asleep and my head fell onto his chest. I blushed in my sleep and nuzzled into him a bit.

(Romans POV)
'Awww...he's so cute!' I thought as I lied him back down. I lied down with him and he cuddled into me in his sleep. I put my arm around him and fell asleep myself. Today was a roller coaster...
