Lewis entered, the sound of the wooden door creaking slightly. It was pitch black, but he could move his hands further than he thought, it felt more roomy than he thought.

Suddenly, a mild humming began, the room lit up and came to life, one section at a time, modern lights brightening the entire place up. Maybe for the first time? Old, yet new bookcases rested on a platform that circled the entire room at a small height. It looked like some sort of main, console room.

Lewis stood still, like a statue, his brain trying to process, what just happened. "Wait, a minute, what the feck!?" He said to himself.

He turned back to the door, still open, lighting part of the cave he just came from. He stepped swiftly outside, took another glance at the box using his phone, circling it like a shark.

"What.... What.....WHAT!?" He kept repeating, going from inside the box, to the outside.

"How, how is it bigger on the inside, its smaller on the outside? Is it another dimension?" He held his head for a moment, his mind, trying to figure out how this works, how it makes sense, how it even got here, and how it even exists.

Eventually, he venture back inside again, and walked to the centre of the room, he found himself in. There were buttons, levers, twiddly wibbly wobbly things, and things, he couldn't begin to guess the function of. He, placed his hand on the console, trying not to touch anything. He felt a really intense electric shock, yet it didn't really hurt at all, but he took his hand of instantly, thinking whatever this is, might be broken.

All of a sudden, he began to feel an intense amount of pain, as if the shock he just experienced was delayed. He fell to the floor, smacking some controls on the main console, his mind thumping, heart beating rapidly, curled up, trying to mask the sudden tsunami of pain.

The box again suddenly jumped to life, the middle of the console moving like clockwork, lights flickering and constantly changing brightness, a sound rushing throughout the entire room and in the cave, the doors closed.

Meanwhile, "AHHHHhhhh-A-oowwwwwwww" Lewis was still feeling a large amount of pain overwhelming his entire body, too focused on trying to mask it, he almost didn't even realise what was happening. The entire room began to jolt, bang, shake, almost as if the box had just fallen over.

For Lewis, the pain began to slowly stop, his mind still thumping and heart still rapidly beating. "What is happening!" He tried to not be thrown around as the room shook like an intense theme park ride. It eventually stopped.

He shot up, adrenaline suddenly flowing through his veins, the pain stopped as if he never even felt it, but his body felt numb, and his mind felt overwhelmed... "AHH!" Lewis screeched for a moment, feeling his legs, "My legs are tied backwards!" He looked down, "Oof, no they're fine. That was a close one, what was that about... That did not feel good at all. Note to self; don't walk into a big, small scary blue box and touch a very advanced steampunk looking console."

The box surprised him yet again, it shook violently. Lewis managed to grab a railing as he almost stumbled and fell. He went to the door to leave the box, still jolting every few seconds. He opened the two doors at once.

Unexpectedly, he was met with a large amount of light, flooding the edge of the door, but not the entire room. He instantly looked to the floor. His eyes trying to adjust, eventually they did, he began to look up, there was no longer a floor outside the box.

A large star in space was staring right at him from a long distance, molten elements swirling on the surface, mini solar flares bursting from the star, eventually being sucked back. Lewis absolutely gobsmacked, shouted out "WHY THE FECK AM I NEXT TO THE SUN IN SPACE!!"
